How to use --once? Does it work?
...RD ../pxe-linux.img
So I do $ sudo extlinux --once updebug /boot/syslinux
The file /boot/debug/ldlinux.sys changes, and part of the change is 2
copies of the characters u p d e b u g
But when I reboot, it comes up from the first option. And if I sit at
the console, I see that option showing as gthe default, just as if I
hadn't been using --once to change it.
However, the modifications _are_ removed from /boot/debug/ldlinux.sys
So part of the desired effect of --once is happening on boot up
Perhaps I don't understand what is meant by "command" in the man page:
-o, -...

Complex data structures in templates
Hi.
I wonder if it is possible to use more complex data structures in
templates than simple variables and arrays? I have been trying nested
arrays, as well as nested arrays and hashes, but nothing seems to work
(more specifically, nested arrays seem to be flattened into a single
array). Having only simple variables and arrays is a little limiting.
Something like the Perl-based Template Toolkit

How to use --once? Does it work?
...would guess you are not using "/boot/debug/" but actually
"/boot/syslinux/" as installation path, right? Where is your
ldlinux.sys really located?

Question about new results hash
Is it really a hash? As in, can I pass it into a method that a worker is
calling so that, for example, a method in my ActiveRecord that''s
actually doing the work?
Really liking the new code. Does rubyforge or devjavu have the rdocs
anywhere?

DMCA and webcasting
Last year I arranged with my college radio station and ITS department to
webcast the radiostation using icecast. The webcast has been a wonderful
success so far. My problem now is not technical, but political. A few days
ago I recieved the following message from the station director:

Upgrading to 7.0 - stupid requirements
In http://www.freebsd.org/releases/7.0R/announce.html says
Updating Existing Systems
