Well needless to say FWD side

Yes there was a ':' there all right. Seems I was hit by a vi error:
[12:04 phoinix:/etc/ups] # grep 3493 *.conf
upsd.conf:LISTEN 127.0.0.1 3493
upsd.conf:LISTEN ::1 3493

GRRR! I hate it when that happens.
Sorry for the noise...

Polycom push application for microbrowser
Hi,
I have been trying a (really simple) push application for the Polycom
microbrowser, using a Polycom 650 with 3.2 firmware.
I can't do anything, I always get "Push message cannot be displayed" back
from the Polycom phone, and all I am sending is the Polycom example :
<PolycomIPPhone>
<Data priority=?critical?> <h1> Fire Drill at 2pm </h1>

...t and whatnot callbacks. Unfortunately, I can''t
find it and searches don''t seem to help.
Does anyone have a reference to a page that shows the callback
sequence with Acts As State Machine (the gem)?
I think there was a Wiki page on github with this, but I can''t find
it. Grrr.
Thanks!

Rails crashes my fcgid/fastcgi/scgi on apache2/lighttpd :<

will run ok.
When it "crashes", I get a line in my apache server log for my rails

And no other logs (grrr).
I also get this output on my ssh session sometimes when I run the
action and make it crash:

Can anyone share any insight? Am I running out of memory or

color code from csv
...es (eg. elements in the
column are #ffffff, #ff0000) but if I use col=data$color it doesn't work,
the entire plot is white. If I use these set of hexadecimal values in the
legend, it works fine and I get lovely colors.
I could use pch, but I'm already using symbols for another key.
Grrr. What am I missing?
Thanks!

No, not passwords should be rejected.

Where is the definition that passwords have to be atomic? And if it is there, it should be changed.

Oracle 8.1.7 client
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO close to getting my ERP package to run. GRRR. Latest
version of Codeweaver WINE, just downloaded yesterday. IE works, MSOffice

work OK.

Which Ruby is my Rails using?
I just noticed something.
I''m running OS X and I''ve installed/updated Ruby to 1.8.4 using the
HiveLogic instructions.
In generating a new app, I noticed that the dispatch.cgi,
dispatch.fcgi and dispatch.rb all start with:
#!/usr/bin/ruby
and not
#!/usr/bin/env ruby
The script/server file does use ''env''.
Now, how will this impact how Rails is run? Will it

NTP on CentOS 3.4
...rs. However, that file is empty...
/etc/ntp/ntpservers contains clock.redhat.com and clock2.redhat.com,
but ntpservers isn't used *anywhere*.
This looks like a bug, but maybe I'm overlooking something stupid. I
reviewed the RHEL manuals, but they only reference the GUI utilities
now (grrr).
Any ideas a) where 127.127.1.0 is coming from (parsing bug?), or b) why
the initscript doesn't reference /etc/ntp/ntpservers?
Thanks,
