Hi, I would like to have a script/function (or write one) that can calculate the linear models for all possible combinations of explaining variables. creating subsets within lm()
Dear All, the lm() function has the possibility to create a subset of the possible explaining variables that you have. However, in the help there is no example how to use this subset option. breaking multi-modal histograms down into combinations of unimodal distributions

ghost jobs through samba
Hi, I run Samba 2.2.7a on a FreeBSD 4.7 server. Samba is installed WITHOUT CUPS support. Recently I shared a printer on a Windows XP machine which is on the network. Since that moment the "ghost" print jobs keep appearing at random. The printer spool identifies them as "Low-level documents". All they are is binary rubbish. I think this has to do with Samba.
