[wietse@porcupine.org: Re: syncronous directory operation for linux (ext2)]
There's a big thread about filesystems on postfix-users@postfix.org
Could you shed some light on that issue?

Transcoding g.711 -> g.729
.... I need to
covert this file (uLaw, PCM I think) to g.711, g.729 & g.723 for use
with an IVR system. Is there a way I can convert the files using the
g.729 digium codec? sox?
Thanks

NAT router and off-premise SIP audio problem
...nd any other SIPs connected to the server are a
problem... they ring up but no audio is passed in either direction.
SIP.CONF has NAT=YES.
We presume that a dedicated IP address for the Asterisk server would resolve
this but we would like to avoid the extra expense.
What are we missing? TIA.

hello! first post + context_setup
Greetings all.
I''m looking over a ''greenfield'' pasture, and enjoying the TDD(BDD)
process of creation.
I''m currently rspec''ing a finite state machine
(acts_as_state_machine). As such, I need to persist the model through
''specifies'' within the context - from top to bottom.

Async Query Directory (for VFS)
Hi, is there a branch, patch or other attempts I can look at for async processing of SMB2 QUERY_DIRECTORY? Looking online I see proposals from years ago for making everything async but I don't know what happened to it?
In my use case, I don't care as much about impersonation and security as it's being used for client only loopback on Mac, process running as the logged in user. I have

SIP to PRI
Hi
I can provide my customers one or several phone lines by using an ATA
through the SIP protocol.
Is there a similar box that would allow me to provide a PRI (23B +D) to a
customer using SIP ?
Thanks

they're all switched to other boxes (highly distributed). On the PRI card,
one goes to Embarq, the PSTN and two go to a legacy SX-200 which is being
phased out. The fourth is a connection to an Adtran TSU-600 channel bank.
Given this is a greenfield spec and we're building it from scratch, I'm
looking at SuperMicro and their motherboards. Architecturally, I see the
tandem as being CPU bound, if anything. Backbone is GigE connected to the
server so I/O there isn't an issue and we aren't doing voicemail on it so it

Matching multiple destination IPs in the ingress queue.
I''ve been trying to match multiple public IPs in an ingress qdisc. The
idea is to allow these specific IPs and aggregate value of 256 kbits

Can anyone tell me how this can be effectively done if at all possible
with tc?
Thanks in advance

It install cleanly and easily except it was missing virt group file (or

I grabbed an older virt file from another cluster and used that.

USB key problems on enterprise systems
Just came up with some interesting (read: frustrating) problems on
RHEL3 and RHEL4 today at work, and I've confirmed one of the problems
on my up-to-date CentOS4 system at home. I was forced into releasing
some RHEL3 systems to replace our aging RH9 systems without time for
adequate testing, and that leads to problems like these.
On our legacy RH9 systems, mounting a USB key is no problem,
