Logistic Regression - Variable Selection Methods With Prediction
Hello,
I am pretty new to R, I have always used SAS and SAS products. My
target variable is binary ('Y' and 'N') and i have about 14 predictor
variables. My goal is to compare different variable selection methods
like Forward, Backward, All possible subsests. I am using
misclassification rate to pick the winner method.
This is what i have as of now,

Leaving out graduations and numbers on y axis plot
Hi all,
I want to use a fourth plot on a page as a "map" of how to interpret
the previous three plots - so the x axes are all the same but I want
the y axis on the fourth plot to have no graduations or numbers - is
this possible?
I had a look in Peter's book and the help stuff but couldn't see
anything.
Thanks,
Phil.

GRE (Graduate Record Exam) PowerPrep
Hello,
I'm preparing to prepare to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) this
fall, and I downloaded the GRE PowerPrep software from www.gre.org.
Unfortunately, I have not successfully set up the software yet - when I
try to get a set of practice questions, the program gives me a Windows
dialog box saying "Fatal Error". Then the program stops responding to
mouse clicks completely and

Task View for Marketing
...iplines, marketing seems to use the most
statistics. Plus most of the employment opportunities I see for
statisticians in the commercial sector, are in market research, where
database marketing and market segmentation seem to be the hot topics.
I can see how R might be less attractive to marketing graduates than
graduates of finance and economics. However at the same time, I know a
lot of people who have graduated in statistics, who are interested in
marketing...

identical function names from 2 packages
Hi,
If I load 2 packages that have a function with the same
name, how do I tell R to run one or the other?
(Instead of having R automatically use the first- or
last-loaded one, whichever it is. (Which is it, by the way.))
Cheers!

Thanks in advance.

Print CALLERID in CLI during "pri debug "
Hi all,
I was wondering if it is possible to print the callerid value in the
CLI when doing 'pri debug span 1'
For example

[LLVMdev] Unreachable code executed crash
Yes. Intially the pass was crashing when the module when the module verifier
was running. I was able to solve that and now it is crashing when the bit
writer pass is running.

[LLVMdev] Unreachable code executed crash
Initially, tt was not a problem with the verifier, we were just inserting a
wrong instruction in our pass. Also we were able to figure out the error you
pointed out and our pass is running as intended!!! Thanks a lot.

What was wrong? I wasn't able to reproduce it and would still like to
teach the verifier whatever it missed.

Vectorization in LLVM x86 backend
I isolated the LLVM IR and the X86 instructions emitted for the function
and are attached herewith and it is clearly emitting vector instructions. I
am having a hard time figuring out where the vector instructions are
formulated. For sure SLP and Loop vectorizer is not doing anything.
