undefined method `time_zone=' on Rails 2.0.2.9129 on Mac OS X
I just did a gem update and it broke my rails application. I had to go back to 2.0.2, because 2.0.2.9129 produces this error on Mac OS X Leopard: /Users/nicholas/RubyDev/dummy/config/environment.rb:38: undefined method `time_zone='' for #<Rails::Configuration:0x12c9f24> (NoMethodError) from /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/rails-2.0.2/lib/initializer.rb:47:in `run'' from

While we appreciate Apple's continued support of LLVM and of the Developers' Meeting, the goodwill generated is being undermined by this policy to withhold important technical information from other LLVM users, and for little benefit to Apple. --Vikram Adve ---------------------------------------------------------------------- VIKRAM S. Good Will Legal Question
Hi R Team!, ? We are opening a new start up soon, codinghoodies.com, we want to make coders feel stylish. ? Out of goodwill I wanted to ask you formally if I can have permission to use the standard R logo on the front of hoodies to sell? I have read your rules but wanted to ask as I feel a moral right to email you asking to show support and respect for the R project. ? If it makes it easier I could build send a picture...

But, Red Hat isn't going to do that, for a number of reasons but mostly because free and open source is essential to what Red Hat *is* as a company. ...er for non-profit groups in Canada. The lack of licencing fees makes a big difference to them, non-profits groups are perpetuually long on brains and short on cash. But even so I think we could cough up, say, ten bucks a year per machine to put some payback into CentOS. Given general widespread goodwill this might be multiplied significantly. I have not seen this discussed on the list and would be happy to know if there is some reason it hasn't been attempted. Please let me repeat, this is meant as a constructive suggestion, there is no problem with the product, quite the reverse. Commen...

REPOST: fallback layout mechanism
Sorry for reposting but as I got no reply so far so I am just coming to try my luck again. I am doing a multi-lingual website which might have several layout pages (language dependent)available. I want to do a mechanism to fall back from one language to another default language if such layout file is missing. Any chance I can do an is_exist check on the layout? With my current code I really want

Has anyone on the list been able to locate and try out the 1.1.0 firmware? It was released in November, but I have yet to get my hands on it. The Polycom site has way more docs online, but the link to the firmware only brings up the release notes. -sb
