No answers :-( I've found the sourcecode of "vmware2libvirt" (part of virt-goodies - a python-file) to convert .vmx file to .xm file for using in virt-manager. This programm works fine. Conver...

CeBIT goodies
I saw a quick demo of HotLava's multiport ethernet cards at CeBIT last week. The guy there had a low-spec server with two multi-port 10Gbe cards in sitting there sustaining 200Gbit/sec. I was quite impressed, thought it might be of interest to gluster users. They're very pretty when they're all lit up :) http://www.hotlavasystems.com/ I also saw an interesting low-cost 'fat

They need to comply with all licenses of software included in their product. This kind of attitude "well if you *insist* people follow your license then..." is amazing to me. [LLVMdev] Next LLVM release thoughts?
Hi All, It has been entirely too long since the last release, and we have plenty of goodies for a very solid release. Do people find releases useful, or should we just continue to run out of CVS? Does anyone have any thoughts? -Chris -- http://nondot.org/sabre/ http://llvm.org/

[LLVMdev] Using C++'11 language features in LLVM itself

Call me conservative, but I was thinking that > a reasonable GCC baseline would be GCC 4.4 or something (which is ~3.5 > years old). On considering which versions get you various C++11 goodies, I'd personally recommend gcc 4.5 as the baseline: that's when you can start using lambdas and atomics (and a few other unicode goodies, but MSVC has yet to support those anyways, so the point is fully moot). Anything older than gcc 4.4 loses you most of the C++11 features. MSVC 2010...

logos and goodies
I've got a couple questions related to my search (in vain) for an "R" tshirt or coffee mug. The first question is simply: is there a higher-resolution R logo available than the one at r-developer.org? (or the modified one provided by useR conference pages) Next: what are the chances of someone in the "R management" setting up a cafepress.com "R

asterisk turn key solution
can anyone recommend a asterisk "turn key" company. we will need the hardware as well as tech. support 24/7. we'll want all the goodies, voice mail, auto attendant. we have 6 incoming pot lines (all the same number), and 40 normal telephones. we have no interest in changing to ip phones or the pot lines at this time. we're interested in removing our meridian pbx system, installing asterisk, learning how to use it on our own...

write.table vs. read.table and the argument "fill"
Just wondering how come read.table lets you specify fill=TRUE for ragged arrays, but so far as I can tell, no equivalent for write.table? Not a big deal, since I'm perfectly comfortable w/ write and scan and the other file I/O goodies. "A foolish inconsistency..." and all that. Carl

WinAmp Plugin with HTTP Streaming Support
I finally figured out why I was having so many problems with MSVC 5. Compiler optimizations were doing BAD things. :-( Anyway, here's the goodies: http://www.javasource.org/in_vorbis.dll If you just want the plugin. http://www.javasource.org/in_vorbis.zip For the source. If somebody can get a working version from MSVC 6 please send it back to me and I'll make it available. That should cut the DLL size in half. Thanks! Aaron -...

file_column and versions acting up...about to spit blood and kill people. please help.
Hey railsers...anyone run into this problem? I''m developing an app which I''m deploying with Capistrano. That being said, I''ve stuck all the file_column goodies in public/system/... During my deployment script I chmod -R that directory and everything in it to make sure www-data (the apache user/group) has access to it. In development mode on my Macbook I can upload images and see their versions just fine. If I do the same thing on the production server...
