Cisco 7905G Firmware
I have had a 7905G lying around for the past 8 months and have just had time to start setting it up with asterisk. I started following the links on the wiki about where to download the firmware from cisco. I signed up to cisco so I could apparently download the new firmware for the phone, but it now seems I must purchase a support contract. Is this correct? Is there any other way to get the

Hi there, I'm very interested in oVirt as a management interface for a VM setup we're building, however it seems as though there isn't much info on the product roadmap or active development. I'm wondering if anyone could point me to more information on the roadmap or commit activity on the project? Regards, Anthony -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

ISDN-30 in UK
Hi, I've just been made aware of Asterisk through the article on Slashdot. We're a small UK company with a ISDN-30 link to the office and a Meridian (Nortel) PBX. We're expanding and moving offices soon and I'm looking seriously at VoIP technologies. So starter for ten, can Asterisk interface in with ISDN-30 technology? I'm assuming the set-up is a server sat running

Interrupt latency problems
I'm debugging a TxFax problem whereby the fax transmission fails. I suspect interrupt latency--some interrupt routine is holding its interrupt too long. I have all unnecessary services switched off and X is not running when I perform these tests. Some transmission are successful while others fail at random points. I've noticed that after I boot Linux, load zaptel, wcfxo, and wcfxs,
