Hi, I have the install guide and the admin guide....nothing in either that I can see from the contents pages tells me how to create the first "server" ( I assume that is what I have to do?) Is there another doc Im missing? or a good URL for a howto on a redhat based machine? Also from what I can see the "free" version is cli only? and there is no virtual (vmware) appliance?

Hello, I've removed a volume and I can't re-create it : gluster volume create gluster-export gluster-6:/export gluster-5:/export gluster-4:/export gluster-3:/export /export or a prefix of it is already part of a volume I've formatted the partition and reinstalled the 4 gluster servers and the error still appears. Hi together, is it possible to use gluster WITHOUT nfs? First I thought it is possible by using "gluster native client/protocol". I do not want any open ports on public interfaces and as far as I understand it is not possible to bind nfs to internal interfaces. I am trying to pin every daemon (glusterd, glusterfsd, glusterfs) to internal interfaces (security). Hopefully this can be done
