How does Norvergence do it ?
So a guy shows up at the the office, after making an appointment with the office manager / receptionist to talk 'phone systems'. After her eyes glaze over, with him talking T1 and Frame-Relay I get to see him. He's from Norvergence. Well dressed. Tells me they can do a T1 for $79, with unlimited local & long distance for free. It also does 'internet'. 'Just give me copies of your phone bill'. I ask some questions, lik...

They are generated. To get one you need a broken assembler or a broken hardware. Sorry if lld is not the linker you want, but that is the one we are writing. As for how it will be taken seriously, well, we seem to be...

Of course I'm not happy. And I hope that you understood that that is unusual. Having said that, I'd say it's however reasonable. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/attachments/20160321/09a66758/attachment.html>

User Manager for Domains -- Groups not showing
...lf (with some help). Recently I have had to add about 300 more users to my system and now I need to get a slightly less technical person to help me manage the accounts. I've been happily using smbldap-tools all of this time, but when I showed what I do to my hapless trainee, her eyes started to glaze over. So as an alternative I'd like to start using the 'User Manager for Domains' in the SRVTOOLS.EXE archive. She might find the point and click of it all more friendly. Only thing is, when I start up User Manager, I can see all the users, but I can't see the groups. So I did a bit...

Curious finding in MASS:::confint.glm() tied to eval()
...(mf, parent.frame()) ... debugging in: eval(mf, parent.frame()) debug: .Internal(eval(expr, envir, enclos)) Browse[1]> Error in inherits(x, "data.frame") : object "DF" not found Unfortunately, at this point, largely due to lack of sleep of late, my eyes are sufficiently glazed over and my brain sufficiently vapor locked that the resolution is not immediately clear and I have not yet dug into the C code for eval(). Presumably, either I am missing something fundamental here, or there is a bug where, environment-wise, these respective functions are looking in the wrong pl...

Reading the new 6.0 manual - now questions
I'm new to running VMs, so I'm hoping this hasn't been a problem question asked before. I've only glazed over the emails from this list since I've joined due to not really needing all of the great information if provides. Eric suggested I wait for Centos 6 to start loading my new VM host, and so I grabbed the RH Virtualization PDF and started digging in. Firstly, it occurred to me that Cento...

Why write your dialplan using Lua?
Hello, Reading through the Wiki: "Asterisk supports the ability to write dialplan instructions in the Lua programming language. This method can be used as an alternative to or in combination with extensions.conf and/or AEL. PBX lua allows users to use the full power of lua to develop telephony applications using Asterisk" My question is, what is the benefit of using Lua? I recently
