CentOS-friendly wiki engine ?
...plement a wiki-based website dedicated to ecological farming. The wiki is supposed to host a variety of documents in text, video and audio format. I've never used any wiki engines myself. Is there any one you can recommend in particular ? I'm using CentOS 5 on the server, so I would be glad to use a solution where I don't have to jump through burning loops (e. g. install a more recent version of PHP/Python/whatever) to make it work. Cheers, Niki

How to display an image on RGL plot?
Hi all. It's been a long time since I wrote to this list. Glad to see the R project well and working. I am working with a 3D plot similar to this: http://old.nabble.com/file/p26525177/rgl-device.png rgl-device.png The underlying picture is a JPEG image, loaded with the rimage package and coerced to the matrix. Spheres denote control points, collected fro...

Swift Test Suite
Folks, I'm glad we're getting all the Swift support upstream, but I worry how can we make sure it works for real applications after the initial support is in. I'm sure you guys have your own internal builders, but I think it would be interesting in having some more substantial tests in the test-suite. Are...

[LLVMdev] llvm.atomic.barrier implementation
This looks good to me after a cursory scan, and seems to match what I had worked up with some very welcome better form on the codegen/backend side. =D I'm glad you've had some time to start hacking on this, it may be several more weeks before I get any time to work on these and other LLVM projects. Hopefully someone can chime in on appropriateness of the DAG and target implementations. One question: is "wmb" not actually useful on Alpha?...

USB headsets?
Hi, What USB headset would you recomend? We have some laptop soundcards that are really bad and I would be glad if you could share your experiences when changing to a USB headset instead of using the built in soundcard in your computer. Thanks! Regards, Jan

Firefox 78 under CentOS 6 -- no sound?
Jonathan Billings <billings at negate.org> wrote: > I'm less concerned with firefox being broken on 32-bit CentOS 6 > systems when the platform is only going to live for another month. > Frankly, I'm glad to see flash die just a little earlier. It isn't just 32-bit, but also 64-bit, and it isn't just Flash, but also HTML 5. To notice the bug, all you have to do is try to watch any video at Youtube or elsewhere, if the video has sound. -- Yves Bellefeuille <yan at storm.ca>

911 and Cops knocking on my door
Hi, I am quite new to asterisk so I am not sure what is needed to figure out this problem. If more information is needed and not provided I will gladly provide it. I have a very basic asterisk setup. 1 x100p card and a grandstream handytone 286. I can make calls fine to most phone numbers from the handytone device the trouble seems to come when I dial this number 591-1079. It puts me through to the local 911 dispatch. Causing the police to sho...

Could this be some buffer going ballistic and screwing up the alignment of the packet with something else, consequently...

About AVRDevice.td
Hi, The AVRDevice.td of the AVR target seems too old, some devices like at90s have already been End-Of-Live, and some devices such as AVR DA family are not included. It is possible to make this TD file follow current microchips device list definition ? I am glad to take this work. 1. remove EOL devices 2. add new production devices Ben -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... MEMDISK issue with OptiPlex GX280,620
Good day to you, too. No worries about the delay. I understand how busy everyone is with SYSLINUX. Gladly, the project continues to develop and improve. With that said, thanks for today's flurry of activity regarding my reported problem. Impressively, the debug version of MEMDISK that you had directed me to use appears to have done the trick. Results below. command line: initrd=images/misc/c.im...

DAHDI volume
...y to increase the volume on a DAHDI channel? The VOIP phones in the house work OK, but for the phones connected to DAHDI channels on a Digium TDM400P card, the volume is very low and it's hard to hear if there is any background noise at all. If this is documented, point me to where and I'll gladly do my reading. Thanks, --Greg

SSH Console issues with Ubuntu
Hi, When I login to a Ubuntu 10.04 virtual machine instance running in Xen through SSH, the console''s lines are clipped at the middle section of my 15.6" screen. I''ll be glad if somebody can suggest a fix. This is turning out to be very annoying. Centos 4 repos help me!
Dear CentOS Community Is totally clear there's no support to Centos 4 platform today, but I need to install some packages -ideally- from repositories, so I'll be glad if someone can provide me still working ones, (obviously non-official). If isn't possible I'll move on CentOS5, but (initially) keeping current PHP and MySQL versions. In both cases, I'll need working CentOS4 repos, hopefully the following ones: - CentOS Base.repo - CentOS-Debuginfo....

fixing partition alignment ?
Hi there, I've discovered that most of the hard drives used in our cluster got misaligned partitions, thus crippling perfs. Is there any way to fix that without having to delete/recreate properly aligned partitions, then format it and refill disks ? I'd be glad not to have to toy with moving several 10s of TB disk by disk :D (most disks are JBOD as we're using a fault tolerant network FS, moosefs not to name it). <insert your favorite search engine> wasn't helpful, unfortunately. Drives are ext4, driven by C6 x86_64. Thanks, Laurent.
