I also made it obey --keep-dirlinks when looking for a destination directory and made various rearrangements....

As far as I know this patch has no security implications -- I don't believe that allowing sshd to use get_local_name() (in canohost.c) on a connected socket to determine it's own fqdn will allow a malicious client (or router or dns server) to make it come to the wrong conclusion. ...receiving rsync runs with umask 0 and thus applies the umask to the permissions it gives to mkdir; if the new directory's containing directory is a default ACL, mkdir will apply the default ACL automatically, but the umask should not be applied.
