net drive mapping not working in login script
I've set the path for each user in pdbedit and created a login script with drive mapping etc etc
The network drives aren't being mapped when I login each user:
smb.conf
[global]
printcap name = cups
cups options = raw
map to guest = Bad User
# include = /etc/samba/dhcp.conf
logon path = \\%L\profiles\.msprofile
logon home = \\%L\%U\.9xprofile

Interval censored Data in survreg() with zero values!
...d exponential distribution
don't work in survreg?
2. What else could I do to find a distribution that fits the data well?
3. What about the non-parametric approach in survfit(), could that be a
solution?
I hope my question aren't too stupid, as I'm not a big statistician.

GAM interactions, by example
...(summary b and summary b1) I see that the results look in fact quite different (edf, and also deviance explained for example???)
Are those two models (b and b1) really testing the same things??? If yes, why are the results so different between models???
Thanks a lot if anyone can help with that...

strucchange Fstats() example
...s, only one is detected by the breakpoints() function. Does anyone know how this is possible? I'm totally new to strucchange so it might well be something obvious I'm missing here!
OTHER SIDE QUESTION: can strucchange be used if the y variable is binary???
Thanks heaps if anyone can help

How to get F values for a Generalized Linear Model?
Dear All,
I have fitted generalized linear models with the glm() function from the package lme4. The statistical values it returns are the z-value and the p-value. Now I am searching for a way to get the F-values for my models to use for reporting - as to my knowledge reporting z-values is not very useful and the F-values together with the p-values would be desired for the report. I tried the

When comparing AIC between the gm and gm1 models, I find sometimes that gm1 has a lower AIC than gm. How can that be interpreted??
Thanks a lot if anyone can help...

multiple plots in vis.gam()
...f items to replace is not a multiple of replacement length
I'm quite sure this is because I try to obtain 3 graphs out of a routine made to produce only one but I can't find a way to solve the problem (searching the archives, checking plot.gam(), vis.gam(), etc)

CRAN task views work only once per session (PR#9330)
Cran task views seems to be a "once-per-session" process -- the first
attempt to access views in a (RGui for Windows) session works, but
subsequent attempts fail. There is a noticeably long pause before
the failing call returns.
Example session with two calls to "available.views" follows, but similar
effects have been observed with two calls to "install.views" and
