FerretDonors page added to wiki
...ed $3915 to date). Currently it just has a list of donors but I would like to add links for each donor to their personal and/or business websites. This is something I should have done a long time ago. I''d love to hear any suggestions as to how I can better recognize these people''s generosity. So, if you are donor, please check the page to make sure I have included you and add any details that you would like included. If I have left you off, you may want to drop me an email and let me know. Even if you haven''t donated, do go check the list so that if you ever meet any of the p...

Paris Meeting on Dec 20, 2004 - réunion à Paris le 20 décembre 2004
Hi, Just a quick word on this since I was fortunate enough to attend. There were about 18 people, almost all French (if you include the marseillais as French, they may have objections :) Not that I was counting, but there was one female human there. Thanks Mark for your generosity and the good choice in restaurants both this year and last June was it? The souffl? au Grand Marnier was very nice, too. I thought this meeting was very positive, a lot of connections were made between participants, a lot of laughs were had, a lot of good food eaten, a lot of good wine drunk. Mark...

My UPS has arrived, time to start working on documentation
Arnaud, my UPS arrived yesterday; thanks for your generosity. I'm using it to power the computer I'm typing on. This moves NUT up a few places on my priority list. In our last email exchange, I believe we agreed on a couple of major points. I want to confirm these before I start modifying the documentation heavily. 1. asciidoc is a good master f...

(My guess is ``no.'') 3- How does CRAN do version control for non-repository packages? (My guess is ``through the generosity of volunteer administrators'' though I would prefer that some version control software be involved.) 4- Should we decide to create a local source repository to meet our needs? (My guess is ``that depends.'') 5- Where might I find examples of groups creating and maintaining local sou...

You have a better sense for how likely it is that someone in the wild is altering their schema and might have changed an already existing attribute, as it seems I did. > > If you'd allow me to impose upon your generosity, can you tell me how I might be able to find out if the 4.11.x `samba-tool domain schemaupgrade` option's new schema has any content that matches the ones I imported? I *do* have copies of the original ldif files I imported, so I know how to check what I used. But where is the new schema that t...

...i is not a proper form for a documentation or an educational material. I hope you don't really realize how despising that is to tell such a thing to an "OP", as you say. So, I am telling you. Especially given the fact that you are, as you say, trying your best to help people, with generosity. What if a "stupid" person needs a certain answer to go on with her work? Maybe that person is not thinking like you do and should be respected anyway, shouldn't she or he? By the way, we are not "OPs", we are people, hidden behind our computers, but still people. Thank you!
Dear Shorewall developers, Thanks very much for shorewall! I''ve been using Shorewall as distributed with Debian GNU/Linux (Woody) for a while on a few firewalls I manage and found it extremely easy to install, setup and use. I liked the nice and easy to understand design of the whole package, the documentation, well documented config files and how well it runs. I just thought

Pull Request wiki.c.o/Download
...'s Documentation link in the Release Notes section and the Red Hat's Errata Support Policy link in the End-Of-Life section. It was very generous of the Red Hat project participant who last worked on the structure of the Red Hat website, but that leaves the CentOS wiki dependent upon similar generosity when the Red Hat site is next modified. I have copied wiki.c.o/Download to wiki.c.o/PatrickDGarvey/Download and replaced the old redirected links with the URLs they reach. For instance, the Release Notes link for CentOS-6 now goes to https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise...

Any news about the patch for the CA feature?
Hi Jeremy Sorry to disturb you. I notice that at several months ago, you offered a patch about the frontend SMB support for the CA feature at mailing list(as shown below). Thanks for your help and thanks for the generosity of Simplivity. It benefits me a lot. Then, up to now, 1) Are there any updated versions about this frontend patch? 2) Are there any patches about the backend SMB support? What about the detailed progress of the backend SMB support research? Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!...
