difficulies with boxplot
Dear list, sorry for bothering you with a probably simple question... I searched the archive but couldn't find the right answer. I have computed upper and lower bounds of a region and would like to plot them in a boxplot. My problem is now to get the two boxplots in the same graphic so that the boxplot of the upper bounds is directly on top of the boxplot of the lower bounds. The reason I

ccomp Composition and ggtern plot...
Dear Users, I would like to use compositions package with ggplot/ggtern, other composition classes of compositional package can be used with ggtern by converting to data frame but I could do anything with c(ount)comp class. Ggplot/ggtern can not recognise comp and also can not be converted to data frame. Is there any other way to do this? Thank you in advance, Levent TERLEMEZ.

Different time between date() and Sys.date()
Hi, I got two different times between these functions : > date() [1] "Thu Oct 21 12:11:37 2010" > Sys.time() [1] "2010-10-21 10:11:40 GMT" > I know that its because I did Sys.setenv(TZ="GMT"). Even if my system is set by default at CEST. I think that the difference between date() and Sys.time() is equal to the difference between CEST and GMT. I would like

ccomp Composition and ggtern plot...
I have no clue what this package is for, but reading the help page for the ccomp function tells you that it returns a numeric vector or matrix. How do YOU want to display information from this numeric vector? That will determine how you would put it into a data frame. -- Sent from my phone. Please excuse my brevity. Natural vs National in R signon banner?
The R signon banner includes this statement: Natural language support but running in an English locale Should that not say 'National' instead of 'Natural'? Meaning that LOCALE support is enabled, not that the interface understands human language? Please ignore this and forgive me if this is an inappropriate post. I am a N00B in R. "Couldn't find function par"
I have just installed version 2.6.0 of R using the Ubuntu Dapper Drake packages from CRAN. I picked the installation option of overwriting the existing config files. Since then, R starts with an error message which I don't quite get because the function it claims not to have found can be called nicely. It wouldn't bug me at all, but R CMD Sweave is a bit more picky than me and dies after

(no subject)
Hi Moray, ? Thanks for your answer. It could help but only partially. ? The script name logon%u.cmd was a bad example. Actually, a user can log on from WinXP , or Win 7 workstations, and I'like to run different logon scripts depending on the OS . So having logon script = logon%a.cmd in the smb.conf generally works thanks to variable substitution. ? But for user accounts that have been
