"Add user script" option never running?
...nters=no I don't know about the other "script" options, but the add user one never runs. Large-scale ACL copying?
...its parent dir), and also given the sheer number involved, it would take, um, a while :( This is Samba 2.2.7a on Debian unstable (can be reverted to stable if need be), and a fairly standard W2k server on domain-level security. Any ideas for an [easier] way to do this? TIA Andrew -- ANDREW FUREY <andrew@terminus.net.au> - Sysadmin/developer for Terminus. Forcing Marker bit
Ever since upgrading to 1.2.8 I've been getting occasional WARNINGS that say: WARNING[4356]: rtp.c:500 ast_rtp_read: Forcing Marker bit, because SSRC has changed. I can't use 3.0pre (or whatever it's called) because the "add user script" option is broken - see my previous thread.) "Cannot native bridge" on licensed G729
Hi folks, In an effort to save bandwidth (our 7905s run over a WAN) we've switched from ulaw to g729a. We purchased 4 licenses from Digium (4 SIP clients, low call volume), and they seem to have been accepted: [codec_g729a.so] => (Annex A/B (floating point) G.729/PCM16 Codec Translator) == G.729 Host-ID: 07:53:aa:d3:e2:f2:bd:cc:27:60:9d:5f:da:eb:5d:e9:6e:09:a1:4e == Found license

...isplayed are the UNIX ones, not the ones converted with the username map option. Does anyone have any more suggestions on these? I would have thought that the first problem particularly was quite critical. Should I take it to the samba-technical list? Quad BRI card
Hi all Does Digium make a quad BRI card? I can't see anything of the sort on their page but I thought they might call it something else in the States. Failing that, can anyone recommend a make/model that would handle 4 BRI ports? -- Cheers Wayne

Voicemail() app not available?
Hi all, I have a demo machine I'm running up on Lenny - it has the packaged Asterisk version installed (1.4.21.2+stuff). I'm trying to add an extension to leave a voicemail message, just with Voicemail(1234), which I've done before (on 1.2 at least), but it's saying "no application 'Voicemail' ". "module show like voi" shows

only owner (and root) can change attributes?
if i understand correctly, only the owner, and root, can change attributes of a file? thus, even though group members may be given permissions to write, and delete, a file, they cannot change attributes, without the workaround of copying and replacing the file? and do i understand correctly that on winnt and successors, permission to change attributes (eg 'everything' permission) can be
