General speed question
We have some speed/performance issues:
We have a 100M fullduplex private network setup to handle rsync transfers
to our "mirror" server with a command like:
time rsync -e ssh -avzl --delete --rsync-path=/usr/local/bin/rsync \
--exclude ".netscape/cache/" --delete-excluded \

steam and wine
I have sucessfully gotten steam and wine to work however I cannot use
microphone for voice communication , I an using alsa .Is there a way to
turn on fullduplex sound like you do in winex by going into config and
changing fullduplex=Y or does wine not support such a feature?

Slow writes from MS-DOS LanMan Client to Samba server

describe it here and maybe anyone has a good idea.
As the subject already told you I'm trying to connect from a
MS-DOS Client to my Samba Server. I'm running a smbd 2.0.5a on a
AMD K6-III machine which has two IBM 16.8 GB IDE drives and is
connected to over a 3com 3c905b with 100Mb to a fullduplex hub.
So far I can see everything with the Linux machine is running
pretty well. The other machine is a toshiba notebook Pentium
233MHz with a 5 GB IBM drive and a 3Com XFE575BT fullduplex
card. If I start the notebook with dos I can copy easyly and
fast (whatever fast is) from the linux machine to...

spa-2100 3.2.1 firmware
sorry to be a little off list,
but I am provisioning sipura spa-2100 with firmware 3.2.1
Finally they got it working with fullduplex ethernet wan.
The wan ethernet mode can be configured only by provisioning but I didn't find the provisioning field's name and the possible values.
Is there some one that has just done it?

Hello list,

Samba - Windows 2000 Client Speed
I've been running Samba v 2.07 for over a year on a small sub network
with excellent results. Win NT 4.0, Win 98, and Win 95 machines all
connected properly, and transfer speeds and reaction time is quite good.
One of the Win NT machines was just upgraded to run Windows 2000. The
connectivity still works, but I noticed a severe degredation in transfer
speeds to and from the Windows 2000

asterisk problem
the problem below keeps recarrying even after i have cleared this error when
i run asterisk -vvv or -c the error occurs again please help
