Pending upload
...n the meantime consensus seem to have formed on -kernel and -devel, or at least there was no more answers... Which means at least people don't disagree strongly with the conclusions taken... In the meantime, though, there's still the upload of xen 3 pending in NEW... What about it? Are the ftpmasters going to reject it automatically because they read the ML? (well, on ftp.debian.org) Comm...

Bug#790642: blktap-utils: Incomplete/stub-only manpages
Package: blktap-utils Version: 2.0.90-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Man pages for blktap-utils are effectively stubs, with no useful content whatsoever. It would have been better to just leave them out (even if lintian and/or ftpmaster would have complained) Will try to follow up with newly-created manpages. Thanks -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (400, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16-2-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Local...

samba4 on debian squeeze
I'm setting up a debian squeeze file server with NFS mounted home directories and authentication via ldap. Now I want to give Windows users access to those same home directories. I thought I'd try samba4. I figure I have nothing to lose since this is a virtual machine and if I don't like the results, I can just restore from a snapshot. Its not a production machine yet. I'd
