8000 security risk?
Hi all,
Are there any serious security risks for leaving port 8000 open to public use on icecast? I had wanted to limit to 8443 but it seems some radio devices cannot support this protocol.
Thanks,

8000 security risk?
...t 8000. I guess the less of that I have to deal with, the better. But if there are streaming aggregators out there who can’t use the HTTPS over the HTTP, then it may be better to deal with the inconvenience once in a while.
Thanks for your help.

[PATCH 0/2] builder: Choose better weights in the planner.
It started out as "this'll be just a simple fix ..."
and turned into something a bit over-engineered in the end.
Here it is anyway.

[PATCH v2 0/2] builder: Choose better weights in the planner.
v1 -> v2:
- Removed the f_type field from StatVFS.statvfs structure.
- New function StatVFS.filesystem_is_remote, written in C.
[Thinking about it, this should probably be called
?is_network_filesystem?, but I can change that before
pushing].
- Use statvfs instead of fstatvfs, and statfs instead of fstatfs.
- Rejigged the comments in builder/builder.ml to make them simpler

Intro file will not pre-pend stream
...gt;
<stream-name>/test.mp3</stream-name>
<intro>/test-44100-stereo-112.mp3</intro>
</mount>
I haven’t changed the default webroot path. My file is in there with permissions 744.
My stream is sent to icecast with Butt. Here is a screenshot.
https://wfsu.org/images/screenshot.jpg
I have checked my xml config for properly formatted xml.
I used stop/start/reload commands as well as sighup on icecast service.
I am running centos 7.
Any ideas on what I can try next? Don’t want to give up but….
Thanks in advance,
Trisha

TableGen - Help to implement a form of gather/scatter operations for Mips MSA
Hello.
I read on page 4 of http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~whalley/cda5155/chap4.pdf that gather and
scatter operations exist for Mips, named LVI and SVI, respectively.
Did anyone think of implementing in the LLVM Mips back end (part of the MSA vector
instructions) gather and scatter operations?
If so, can you share with me the TableGen s...

Installing rsprng fails because:

I tried Version 2, but it looks as though it's not been updated for 10

For whatever reason, make fails but the instructions for dealing with

AJAX to a table row
Hello-
I''d like to throw a little AJAX into a table to allow the user to edit a
single row of data inline rather than moving to another page.
The row (which has N columns) would be swapped out for a row which has a
single column (colspan="N") and the form inputs would be in that row.
My question is, is this legal HTML? I can''t find anything that says
either way.

[LLVMdev] Reading Static Values
Hi,
I'm currently trying to translate LLVM IR language to VPO .dec file
specification. I'm using LLVM source parser in the same way that it is
used in tools llc or llvm-as. One issue I'm having is I cannot find
any static values. For example, in a global declaration i.e. '@a =
global i32 7, align 4' I cannot get '7' from the parsed structure.

No log for hitting login_max_processes_count?
I think today just due to increased use, my mail servers hit
login_max_processes_count. It wasn't obvious what was happening, logins
just weren't acting like they should and sometimes would get
disconnected before given a prompt from the server. Something made me
think to check if I had too many of certain dovecot processes and I
found I had 128 imap-login processes on both servers,
