Before I do that, I thought I'd rather ask if there is a more straightforward solution to this. Some third-party repositories (like Nux-Dextop) offer rebuilt packages like k3b-freeworld or audacity-freeworld with extended functionality. I am looking for a good provider for IAX2/800 termination. I am currently using FreeWorldTel and wanted to use NuFone but it seems that both of them don't provide customer service. FreeWorld has terrible voice quality and NuFone never answers their phone or responds to messages. Thanks, Linn

Hello, I am trying to get MP4/H.264 playback in Firefox to work on my CentOS laptop (for vimeo). I installed the gstreamer plugins as described here: https://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/MultimediaOnCentOS7 (No, I did not install Flash, VLC and all the other stuff. I only want HTML5 MP4 playback..) I enabled the nux repos. I did install all available gstreamer plugins, i.e. -good -bad

I need to convert a bunch of .flac files to .mp3 files, but the sox and flac command tools thats in the base repo won't do that. EPEL doesn't seem to have much either. I went looking at ATRPMS but am getting database errors from their home page :( I know rpmforge used to have this stuff, but its virtually unmaintained today so I've written it off. any suggestions? ...t it.. :) I've got it running through Asterisk - all working fine from a SIP standpoint. I can dial FWD numbers like 612/613/etc and everything works. However, if I dial *18005551212 or *408xxxxxxx (say, a USA number), I either get a fast busy or a "This service is only available to FreeWorld Dialup members". Am I missing something? I signed up, got my password .. the sip is registered, firewall is open, no NAT, etc. I've tried a variety of combos in dialing/etc .. to no avail. Is my account pending some type of activation or such? Possibly / likely related, it seems that...
