Accessing Windows shares - mini HowTo
On the CentOS mailing list and Forums, I occasionally see questions
relating to accessing Windows shares. Thought I could share my notes
on this subject which I put together on a web page:
http://toracat.freeshell.org/centos/HowToAccessWin.html
It is a short practical guide. I would appreciate receiving comments
and suggestions.

...on is >= 0x20. Since this is 0x50 (?), and the chip specifications are extremely similar (if not identical after comparing the init section), this chip should be activated.
(I also ensured i2c-dev was loaded per some other rumors on the net, but doubt
it's needed?)

...y** recommend you try out the new bundle and
theme. I believe it will make it much easier to create MultiMarkdown
documents, as well as to process them into other formats with minimal
effort.
Please let me know if you find anything that seems to be broken.

To generate random numbers between 0 and 1, do you use rnorm followed by dnrom? for ex, for 10 variables

syslinux.com: sector read error
...C:" and press "Y" (why is this necessary?)
(5) Boot drive and run "syslinux c:"
(6) Get "sector read error"
I am using qemu 0.9.0. This works with disks having different
geometries.
If it's easier you can download the disk ready to boot at http://

GID Games Exploits
It has come to my attention that there are quite a few local exploits
circling around in the private sector for GID Games.
Several of the games have vanilla stack overflows in them which can lead to
elevation of privileges if successfully exploited.

how to get flac fingerprint from a wav?
Great info. I found some descriptions of st5 (md5 fp) and ffp, where
I assume that "fp" is just a Taper abbreviation for "fingerprint" -
or signature as it's called in the flac header. However, I could not
find these utilities or source code. What I found looked like
instructions for a gui-based program. I think it would be easier to
support Mac if st5 were

encoder block diagram
I've made a block diagram of the encoder because I tried to find out, how it works
http://stoffke.freeshell.65535.net/ogg/block.html
Although there are specifiation docs, that give very
detailed information about single aspects of the encoding (or decoding) ,
I'm missing documenations that give a more general overview,
about how the encoder works.
(Vorbis Illuminated seems a bit outdated, as well a...

...have my
asterisk invoking some custom scripts and uploading the faxes into a
database based on DID and CallerID numbers, and I would much rather
get this working now this way instead of have to learn how to
integrate the same thing with HylaFax.
Thanks in advance,

Mixed FXO and FXS on one Adtran, T1 card?
Can I configure an Adtran channel bank with a mixture
of FXS and FXO cards and have them come into a single
T100P T1 card? It seems like this would be a cheaper
solution than trying to load a bunch of PCI cards into
a PC.
Also, when shopping for an Adtran (on ebay) - what do I need
to watch out for as far as interfaces or
capabilities to make sure that it works with a
Digium card?

echo test message, etc, is cut off for the first 1/4 to
1/2 second. I've tried setting the phone to gsm but
it still happens.
