Upgrade of CentOS 6.6 to 6.7
After the upgrade, I was encountering a "network unreachable" error.
This happens on kernel versions -> 2.6.32-573.1 .1-el6.x86_64 and
2.6.32-573.3.1-el6.x86_64. If I revert back to
2.6.32.504.30.3.el6.x86_64, the problem goes away. I've been searching
frantically without much luck. I have found references to the same error
on bugs.centos.org but no resolution as of yet. Has anyone else
encountered this? If so, what did you do to resolve it?
TIA,
John

v3.0.0, AD, 2k3 mumbles
I'm running a Samba 3.0.0 server in production in security = ADS mode
against a W2k ADS server. Works just fine, thanks!
We're sort of under pressure to regrade to a 2003 AD server, which sent
me trying stuff out a bit. Meager results. The 3.0.0 I have (linked
with MIT krb5-1.2.8) refuses to verify incoming tickets:

Proposal - Add xe manpages to xen-org
Xen Community,
I have a team of people frantically creating manpages for the xe

is in asciidoc but also saved as Docbook. From docbook we transform to

Printer Rights Fail
Hello everyone,
I upgraded my Samba server on my RHL 7.2 box from 2.2.3a to 2.2.7. Almost
immediately afterwards, all of my admin users suddenly were unable to access
the printers that were being shared by Samba. Any idea of what is wrong and
how to fix it? The messages I'm getting are that I do not have enough
rights.
I am using a Windows 2000 Server PDC and a lot of Windows XP Pro, and

[LLVMdev] Buildbot exception get_builddir?
Hi,
I'm sure you have all seen this exception dozens of times, but I cannot
figure out what it means and what I am doing wrong. As per suggestion of
the list, I have put up a Mingw64 build slave and am frantically trying to
get it to work. But the Waterfall display kindly informs me that
"exception get_builddir" is the result of the attempt of building.
I know I am doing something wrong because I managed to make the virtualenv
sandbox in the build directory so I get the logged message that I can...

Nope, it doesn't. You'll need to figure out what's going on with your
setup.
Also, I have 12GB of cache in ecc ram that rsync is not using.

VoicePulse 1-800 numbers sound problem
To whom it may concern,
When dialing out an 800 number (888,866,877) through VoicePulse IAX
you'll get a choppy sound. This is not due to a problem on your Asterisk
or your line- the bad sound effect occurs in VoicePulse. (just spend
lots of time finding that out)

What exactly does rchkusr() do?
...in matlab.
It all worked fine, but the newest version of the Fortran code has a
call to rchkusr() and I now get a message that this is an undefined
symbol.
I am under the impression that rchkusr() just serves to let the
processor take care of interruption messages (typically, the user
frantically pressing Ctrl-C to stop running).
a) Is that right?
Another two questions are:
1 - If I choose to keep this "interruption checkpoint" in the
routine, what library is rchkusr() in and how do I link it when
compiling the Fortran object?
2 - True of False: If I choose to comment t...

getting started, reading listing and saving data
Dear List
I am new to R and to the list and will try best as I can be clear and
concise. My apologies if anything I write contravenes the posting code
on this list. I would also like to say I have run through most of the
material on the R website before writing this email however, I am
stuck.
Here is what I want to do and what I have done

Display not refreshing when not moving mouse
...ting I must ask for help with another machine, which has 9600GT in it. I'm stuck on a very strange problem, where display doesn't refresh (everything stops) until I move the mouse. Terminal with vmstat 1 in it stops refreshing, video stops, glxgears stops, everything. If I drag mouse around frantically, screen refreshes normally.
The machines are quite similar, debian + compiz + xfce, so I went further, searching for some lowlevel or even hw cause for such behaviour. I found that on the problematic one the video card shares interrupts with the PCIe storage device, namely sata_sil24 and I also sa...

"virgin" mail accounts
Hello,
I'm willing to swear that with the 0.99.10.4 Debian package in my
rather extensive tests with mailbox format dovecot created not only
any missing parental directories but also the INBOX file, but the
later I can't prove/test now as I upgraded all respective boxes.
However 0.99.10.5 will still create (if needed and possible) missing
directories for mbox storage, just not an

Balancing reads across mirror sets
Hi all,
I have an interesting project that I am working on. It is a large volume file download service that is in need of a new box. There current systems are not able to handle the load because for various reasons they have become very I/O limited. We currently run on Debian Linux with 3ware hardware RAID5. I am not sure of the exact disk config as it is a leased system that I have never

clean up the channels after they hangup. This has been working perfectly for
quite some time previously...
I do a show channels and it shows the channels still up.
The only way out is to kill and restart asterisk....
I am frantically trying to would out how to get a non-current CVS copy of
the source and get it back up and running :(
If any debug output is needed, let me know what you would like. I am using
SIP (ata186), ISDN (i4l), X101P and the USB FXS...

Intermittent Silence
I am currently experiencing intermittent silences with my asterisk system.
The symptoms are as follows:
* Both for incoming and outgoing calls, I (and other users)
occasionally experience a brief period of silence.
* The silence lasts anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds.
* It is not due to silence suppression, because the silences
generally occur in the middle of sentences.
* Silences occur at
