'credentials' file doesn't work - also observed by others
...ials=/etc/smbpassword 0 0
where /etc/smbpassword contains
username=<user>/<domain>
password=<password>
but I get an error:
1741: session setup failed: ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access denied.)
SMB connection failed
(I think '1741' is a PID - it changes each time.)
To forstall some suggestions:
* There are no non-alphanumeric charaters in <user>, <domain>,
<password> etc.
* There is a newline at the end of /etc/smbpassword
* I've tried from the command line using 'smbmount', with the same
results - works with "password=" but not...

I might have to ask for an exemption on that timestamp -- the first bits
of the survival package only reach back to 1986. And I've had to change
source code systems multiple times which plays hob with the file times,
though I did try to preserve the changelog history to forstall some
future litigious soul who claims they wrote it first (sccs -> rcs ->
cvs -> svn -> mercurial). :-)

[Very OT] Steve Jobs, is he sick?
For us "Railers" on Mac systems we all probably watched Steve Job''s
keynote at the WWDC yesterday. Was it just me, or did Steve look
"sick"? I mean he has lost a lot of weight and his skin was very drawn.
