After formatting the devices with ext4 I realised, that I had used a wrong label, so I tried to relabel the devices. Hi, we still run dovecot 1.2.17 and upgrading is not planed for some time. But I'm asked to install a sieve system to be used with SOGo soon. What do I have to install / configure? Is installing/configuring the dovecot-sieve-0.1.19 and dovecot-managesieve-0.11.13 enough? We still use mostly the default settings for imaps/pop3s. And of course configure SOGo. Hi, I do a tgz-backup some maildir-folders with n*1000 off files and a lot of GB in storage. The backuped maildirs are removed after the tar. My assumption was, that the free diskspace should be bigger after that, but from what I get with df, it looks like I'm loosing space. Currently the tgz is saved on the same disk/mountpoint. Hi, I have a samba 3.6 PDC with ldap backend. Now I'd like to add an other storage samba server which uses the same home directory structure as the PDC. I have configured the new server using winbind, so the users can log in with the password stored in ldap. But the home directory stored in ldap is not used; the new server searches in /home/UID or /home/DOMAIN/uid. Any hints? Or

Hi, this is not a genuine Dovecot bug, more a nuisance. It applies to OpenSuse 13.2 but maybe also to other Linux's. The standard installation of Dovecot (especially 10-ssl.conf) places the certificate dovecot.pem in /etc/ssl/certs. Sometimes during updates does OpenSuse renew all certificates in /etc/ssl/certs and erases dovecot.pem. This blocks further access to the mailbox. I found a
