simple formmail question
I have a few forms that I''d like users to fill out. The results of
the form will be sent to a few addresses.
What''s the least painless way to do this and keep everything DRY?
There''s no database involved. Ideally, I''d like to email the form
questions with the answers inline.
Seems like using ActionMailer and separate email views would be
overkill in this

form problem
Hi,
I am using CentOS 3.5 plus the Plesk reloaded 7.3 server admin and just
recently did a small upgrade of some plesk packages plus the update from
CentOS 3.4 to 3.5.
It seems that all of my forms have stopped working using nms FormMail.pl
script. Everything was working before these last two updates. I have debug
set on the form script and it does work without any errors but I never get
the email that a form was submitted.
The server company I get my server through did a test on one of the forms
and I got the technician's e...

Relaying of spam

===============================
Since the "pickoftheyear" account doesn't exist....
Is there any suggestions from the group? I'm a newb at running a mail
server, just trying to figure out what's going on. The site in question
did have a couple formmail scripts that I deleted.
I am interested in running chkrootkit but is there a specific package
required for CentOS/BQ? Or just download and compile?
Thanks.

dovecot mailbox to csv
We (the Math department at the U of Wisconsin) recently switched over from
another server to dovecot
One thing that a lot of people here do is set up an on-line form that sends
them email. They use formmail for this. I have them edit their procmail
config so that all the messages go into a particular mail folder.... So far
so good.
With our old system, all messages in a folder were kept in a single file.
With dovecot, they go into a couple of different directories. This is
problematic because we...

POP daemon
What would be a good POP daemon to use? I know there are a few in the
mail ports. Are they any good?
What I mean by good is 'secure as possible' (is there really such thing as
being totally secure / invulnerable?)
Cheers

I tried my form at 7:27 am this morning and this is the last listing in

removing the () from the first line of the mbox fixed it.

preventing apache from being a mail relay
I am trying to recall back at least 2 years, and my notes are poor, and
my searching appears to be worst...
Seems I recall that last when I set up my apache server, the spammers
were posting to it so it would send out the spam on port 25. There was
some conf that I did to block this, but I did not document it, and I
can't find any reference to this.
I don't think my memory is that
