FOP2 in Digium repository?
Hello everyone, I see that the "yum install freepbx" from Digium repository actually installs the latest FreePBX which is nice. However, I don't see the old FOP in FreePBX anymore. Is there a way to install FOP or FOP2 through repository? Thanks, -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Send QueueMemberAdded Event via AMI
Hello everybody, we are using asterisk 16 with a realtime config and have a problem with FOP2. We have developed a webinterface for managing the queues. If we add a member to a queue, everything works fine but the user is not shown in the queue in FOP2 Panel. The problem is that the FOP2 Panel does not receive the QueueMemberAdded Event. This will only be sent if the QueueAdd Function i...

Signaling ringing on other extension

Maybe I can write a little program running on my PC to receive a message from Asterisk if someone calls the other phone... I'll think about that... Or maybe is there already such a program running on Linux? Regards Luca Bertoncello (lucabert at

how can queue agents choose which call to answer?
Hi everybody, I'm looking for a solution for the following scenario: ? Asterisk queue ? At peak hours, there will be more callers then queue members/agents, so some callers will spend some time on hold ? Agents should be able to choose which of the on hold calls to answer instead of answering the next one in queue We already have a web interface where agents can see the callers on hold, so

Serviced Office operator panel
...or API to allow users to update their information I know it's a big ask, but I'm really hoping someone else has tried to solve this problem before now. We've currently played with FOP, Noojee Reception Console, Hosted Suite? all of which are good for what they do, but here is my take: FOP2 Good for single office Clear visibility, but becomes unwieldy with a large number of extensions No way to group extensions into clients, no way to display additional member information Hosted Suite Out of the box ticks all the requirements but: Does not support BLF display Impossible to drag billi...

is an extension is use
Is there a way to tell if an extension is in use? We run a call center and it would be helpful for the people taking calls to see if we are on the phone or DND. Is that setup in Asterisk or on the phone? the phone as busy lamp field but i will just turn on after a while even if the extension is not i use. the FOP in FreePBX doesn't appear to be that helpful. i am not sure what it is supposed

High volume BLF - Suggestions?
Hi, We have a user who is putting large call volumes through Asterisk, and wants to BLF monitor up to 90 extensions. We are struggling to find a handset that can keep up with Asterisk :) 1) Is there a handset that will do this? 2) Is there a different (standard) way to send BLF and allow directed pickups? 2a) Or even a handset specific way? Asterisk handles the BLF volume fine, even on quite
