[LLVMdev] Feedback required on proper dllexport/import implementation
Hi Nico, Reid, and Anton, I missed the discussion when I implemented dllexport/dllimport for our local tree. I essentially implemented your approach#1. I was trying to avoid the various external_linkage + some_attribute approaches because it seems that external_linkage would imply the external linkage without the dllimport/dllexport semantics, and there may be existing compiler codes that rely on

[LLVMdev] Feedback required on proper dllexport/import implementation
Hello, while improving and extending support for dllexport/import I have noticed that the current way these are implemented is problematic and I would like some input on how to proceed. Currently dllexport/dllimport is treated as linkage type. This conflicts with inlined functions because there is no linkage for the combination of both. On first though, combining both doesn't make sense, but

RE: win32etc test failure
Yep, I agree. Well, what would you prefer? I handle it for you or you handle it yourself? I''m tempted to go with the former because, well, it''s been there for a while now. I can even use strtok to detect if ''\\\\'' is at the beginning of the string and add them only if not found. I''ll have to take a look at delete user - it worked for add_user,

Ok - time for me to patch and update the docs! Thanks for the testing! RE: win32etc test failure
For delete_user, try this patch: etc.c, line 639: - lpHost = (LPCWSTR)STR2CSTR(rbHost); +lpHost = AllocWideLString(rbHost); Lemme know how it goes. RE: win32etc test failure
Excellent! Like I said, I really need to do some code cleanup. I''ll also be adding the config_group and config_user methods :) Dan -----Original Message----- From: Date, Shashank [Non-Employee] [mailto:Shashank.Date@mail.sprint.com] Sent: Monday, March 01, 2004 10:19 AM To: Berger, Daniel Subject: RE: [Win32utils-devel] RE: win32etc test failure That worked ! multi-app merb
Ezra, I love merb, especially because it''s keeping the things that Rails does well and improves on things that Rails hasn''t done so well. One of my biggest pain points with Rails has become multi-app integration. A lot of web sites consist of multiple apps (e.g. a core site, a forum, a blog/cms, etc.). Doing this sort of thing is very ugly and inefficient with the current
