Replacing a function from one module into another one
Hi Philip,
Thanks for the reference, I was able to follow it and copy the code that I
saw necessary, but I still have some issues (references are still not
updated). I created the function:
void populateVMap(llvm::ValueToValueMapTy &VMap, llvm::Function *fOld,
llvm::Function *fNew) {
llvm::Function::arg_iterator DestI = fOld->arg_begin();
for (llvm::Function::const_arg_iterator J = fNew->arg_begin(); J !=
fNew->arg_end();
++J) {
DestI->setName(J->getName());
VMap[&*J] = &*DestI++;
}
}
The same as in *CloneModule*, then I have this...

Recoding variables in R
Hi all,
I have a very general question and I think for you maybe very easy, but I am not able to solve it.
I have a dataset and that dataset contains the variable Anxiolytics. This variable is coded as 0, 1, 2. The variable looks as follows:
> summary(DF$Anxiolytics)
0 1 2 NA's
1102 0 20 440
You can see that the variable is coded as 0, 1, 2, but group 1

SSE instructions and alignment of the return value of 'new'
I have some programs crashing when I upgraded from clang 3.9.1 to clang 4.0.1.
Debugging this I found the reason for the crash. This is happening in the following assembly fragment for a piece of code allocating a class object (size: 24 bytes) using operator new and then initializing it:
0x00002aaaafc145f3 <+35>: callq 0x2aaaafdf5f90 <operator new(unsigned long)>

Replacing a function from one module into another one
Hi Philip,
Thank you very much for your answer, the vector declaration example worked.
I'm pretty sure the ValueToValueMapTy is the last thing I need because I
even saw there is another function that could help me llvm*:*:RemapFunction

clang-cl and exceptions
Tried a small test just now to see how exception handling on Windows is
getting on, and it seems to work except for one thing.
clang-cl /EHsc (the Microsoft compiler option to enable exceptions) doesn't
do anything; they remain disabled. However, -Xclang -fcxx-exceptions
succeeds. Is this a bug in the handling of compatibility options or am I
missing something?
