Production server migration from mbox to maildir ( need advice )
Hello
I'm going to change the raid array of my mailhub in fews days/weeks and I
wonder if it would be a good idea to take the opportunity of this migration
to also change the storage method from mailbox to maildir.
I've never used maildir on my production server only on small satellites.
So I really need advice of admins that use maildir format on prod...

more function in R?
I'm an R newbie and I just have a simple question.
I'm using interactive R on a linux box and I'm trying to find out if there's
a more or a less function. The data I want to look at is larger then my
screen size and all I end up seeing is the last fews line of data. Is there
a way that I can paginate through the data and the results of my summary
functions?
thanks,
Heidi

Hi list,
I have a strange comportment of the MOH system on my asterisk.
When i respond to a call and after fews second i set this call in hold
mode the correspondent listen the music fine.
When i re-take my correspondent at T0 instant the music is paused. And

My class works and resource created the authorized_keys file.
But puppet detect as ensure absent and added again and again
my authorized_keys got fews the same key lines.
I added the target => ''/home/test/.ssh/authorized_keys'',
again ensure is absent.
I replace the ssh_authorized_key.rb from 0.25rc1
and again ensure is absent.

Thinking about using two y-scales on your plot?
Please read this first:
http://www.perceptualedge.com/articles/visual_business_intelligence/dual-scaled_axes.pdf
It's a reasoned discussion of why it's a bad idea and proposes some
alternative methods.
Another good article is:
K. W. Haemer. Double scales are dangerous. The American Statistician,
2(3):24?24, 1948.
People have been advising dual-axis plots for (at least) 60 years!

Maximum number of concurrent calls
Hi,
I remember reading that Asterisk allows only 100 simultaneous calls. Is
that correct?
If it is so, how is it possible to have a conference call with more then
100 users? I think I read here that some people managed to have 500
people in a conf room...
Or, how do I increase this limit? Is it as easy as changing a value in a
config.h?
Thanks for your help,
Emrah

samba nmbd network errors
...you have multiple network interfaces then you must list them
# here. See the man page for details.
interfaces = eth0
bind interfaces only = yes
As you can see I added the "bind interfaces only" and set the interface to
only eth0 (my local network, eth1 is my ISP).
There are a fews ways to configure this but this seems best for me.
Good Luck,

P.S. Any replies should be sent to me as I am not on the mailing list.

Win9x via Kix unable to get extended user attributes
Hi all,
In trying to upgrade Samba here, I have built various versions from
3.0.11 to 3.0.14a using various versions of gcc and the Sun compiler
(this is on Solaris SPARC) and had the following problem in all cases.
Running the built samba as a logon server, I find that WinXP clients
work fine but Win9X clients have some difficulties. The problem is that
the Win9X logon script can't

Post 3.0.9 Win9X Domain Logon Problems
Hi all,
We have Samba 3 up to and including 3.0.9 working fine using LDAP for
the backend. XP and 9X logons work fine. On upgrading to newer
versions (inc. 3.0.11, 3.0.14a and tried 3.0.20), in the same
configuration, 9X logons stop working properly - they authenticate, but
fail to get information such as groups and user's full name. XP still
works fine.
We use KIX for our logon

Caller Id AGI Script
As you my be aware the X100p cannot collect uk caller id,
now I have a modem and a perl script that creates a
file /etc/asterisk/callerid.txt on each incoming call in the format

1.2.11 nfs_flush_file_handle_cache_dir problems
Hi chaps
We're using the mbox_snarf plugin to snarf mail from /var/mail/%U to
~%U/Mail/inbox and using dotlocking on all accesses. This is on Solaris
with NFS mounted home directories.
We're getting a few (very few) of these for just a couple of users:
Error: nfs_flush_file_handle_cache_dir: rmdir(/var/mail) failed: Device busy
Which, having searched, I see some discussion of in the past, but not
with 1.2. We're using:
mail_privileged_group = mail
For the /var/mail 'inboxes', which...

HELP WITH SEM LIBRARY AND WITH THE MODEL'S SPECIFICATION
Dear users,
i'm using the sem package in R, because i need to improve a confermative factor analisys.
I have so many questions in my survey, and i suppose, for example, that Question 1 (Q1) Q2 and Q3 explain the same thing (factor F1), Q4,Q5 and Q6 explain F2 and Q7 and Q8 explain F3...
For check that what i supposed is true, i run this code to see if the values of loadings are big or not.

ZFS RaidZ recommendation
I have been searching this forum and just about every ZFS document i can find trying to find the answer to my questions. But i believe the answer i am looking for is not going to be documented and is probably best learned from experience.
This is my first time playing around with open solaris and ZFS. I am in the midst of replacing my home based filed server. This server hosts all of my media

Missing Groups (from LDAP?)
Hi all,
We have a working 3.0.9 installation here, but I am unable to build any
version now that will correctly.
The problem seems to be that samba is unable to pickup the groups of a
user. We are using an LDAP backend. It all works fine on 3.0.9, but
not on 3.0.14a2 or 3.0.20p1. Here's the test/example data:
The OS knows the groups from NIS:
