Flynn,
Yes, that makes sense. However, in my case I have incoming calls
arriving on an IAX channel from a PSTN gateway. I think the concept is
the same.
That said, if incoming calls have access to...

Grandstream and Transfers
...his issue, and what might be a fix for it:
We've got several BT-101's deployed, and upgraded to firmware v.1.0.5.16. The
phone can do proper supervised transfer, but _only_ once. If the user attempts
to transfer a second time, it won't work.

tinc dies after some days/weekes of normal activity
...duce it
with a known sequence of commands or connections.
After restarting tinc on the main server all subnets reconnects after
some time and all is fine.
I use the tinc version of debian woody (this means 1.0-pre4 with some
changes of the cvs-version).
What can be done to resolve this problem?

Voicetronix OpenSwitch12
Hi all,
I used to have an OpenLine4 card, but decided against using it due to
some problems with hangup detect. Does anyone on the list actively use
Voicetronix's OpenSwitch12? What are your opinions on the card?
Cheers,

Parallel T1 cable?
...ervers would be identically configured in terms of
extensions.conf, sip.conf etc.
My concern is not whether I can create the two * servers -- but rather
whether this setup would work based on the splitting and creation of
parallel T1 and analog lines.
Does anyone have further insight?

Programming the Manager API
I just started poking around with writing a python module to interface to the Manager API, and it suddenly hit me... how the heck are you supposed to program this thing?
All the events seem to be dumped to all the open connections. If I send a command, such as a login, there seems to me to be no way to determine which response are intended for me, and which may be intended for another open

lower bound of prefixlength in host subnet ?
...works fine.
All tests are done with tinc version 1.0.13.
Is there a lower bound for the prefixlength of a subnet declaration in
the host file?
If it is true, it should be mentioned in the documentation and a warning
in the
log should mention something like an "ignored subnet".
Cheers

help with broken voicemail
I can not figure out what the heck is going on. I went back to my old
version and I still get errors when the voicemail system tries to load
any of the greetings, unavail messages, etc. the normal voicemail
prompts work, but any user recording don't work. Leaving a new message
appears to work, but the system wont replay them, it throws errors.
Here is an example of the errors:

...constant ranges are half-open intervals where
"[5, 10)" includes the value 9 but not 10. This means you need to
subtract 1 before multiplying the uppers then add one on when you're
done otherwise you end up with [5, 11) * [1, 3) = [5, 33) when it should
equal [5, 21).

So if I sign up for one account, will multiple users behind my Asterisk box be
able to make calls, using that same account, at the same time? Or do these
providers typically only allow one call to be in place at any point in time?
Thanks in advance.
