florz patch for bristuff breaks compile on x86_64?
After upgrading a CentOS 3.x box to CentOS 4.1 (both x86_64 with an Athlon64) I also wanted to get the latest bristuff. Unfortunately bristuff without florz causes the box to kernel panic within hours (console will complain about bad frame received something). It seems however that the florz patch will not work for x86_64 arch. Bristuff -0.2.0-RC8j compiles fine without the florz patch, but after applying the patch zaphfc will not compile anymore (...

Florz patch for zaphfc
Has anyone had any success using the Florz patch for zaphfc ? I have a * system with 2 HFC cards which is working fine with 2 PTP ISDN lines however the users are complaining of crackles on the line which I am assuming is related to the IRQ issues raised by Florz. I have tried to use the patch but it errors trying to patch zaphfc.h Any h...

Bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q and & florz patch compile trouble
Again trouble compiling bristuff-0.3.0-PRE-1q with the florz patch on a x86_64 box (I guess nobody is using x86_64 platform or is able to fix this themselves?) First of all when bristuff is downloaded and compile is started it appears that the bristuff Makefiles are badly broken. The asterisk Makefiles all do see to find the kernel sources on a RHEL4 b...

zaptel, bristuff zaphfc, and florz question
...doing so. I now have some boxes with Zaptel 1.2.x (with a mixture of 1.0.x asterisk and 1.2.x asterisk), and this setup no-longer seems stable - By plugging or unplugging the ISDN cable, and sometimes just randomly the card will start spewing buffer over/underring errors. I already knew about the florz patch, and I have to say that this makes a HUGE difference - It seems to stabilise things to the point where it will run for a week, but does still go mouldy after a while with a constant stream of: Nov 16 15:54:01 pabx kernel: zaphfc[0]: b channel buffer overflow: 854, 854 Nov 16 15:54:05 pabx ke...

Bristuff-0.2.0-RC5 florz patched weird error and no outgoing calls?
I applied the florz patch but my problems remain. Now I get all sorts of weird errors on the console and I cannot make outgoing calls. Incoming calls work as expected. I am using a single HFC-S card with BRI. Any clue what these errors below are? Ri = 44651 TEI msg = 3 TEI = 7f Ri = 3800 TEI msg = 3 TEI = 7f Ri =...

I865, HFC-S etc.
...wever, still the driver behaves a little bit strange. If card 0 & 1 is TE and 2 is NT, TE works fine, but NT is not working at all. If card 0 is NT and 1 & 2 TE - all of them works fine. When all in TE mode - works fine. brustuff is 0.2.0-RC7k Anybody knows what can be the reason ? I used florz path - helped me to make zaphfc driver running with APIC turned on. However NT mode didn't work @ all, maybe because of my asterisk was in a different version than the florz path (RC7k , RC8a). Putting bri_net_ptmp in config hanged up asterisk. Probably this is a problem of different releases,...

Corrupt CDR records in Asterisk 1.2.x
I have a problem with CDR recording in Asterisk 1.2.x. This is the situation: An Asterisk 1.2.0 (BRIstuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1 with florz) machine with a single HFC-S ISDN BRI card. I log the call records to both the Master.csv and MySQL. The problem is that when an incoming call from the ISDN line is logged to the CDR, the "src" and the "clid" field show up as something like 'h? ' (random weird ASCII cha...

ISDN D-channel disconnects for a minute every 5 minutes
...can see the D-channel going to state F6 (DEACTIVATED) for a about 0.2 seconds every 10 seconds. Then, after 5 minutes, the D-channel goes to state F6 (DEACTIVATED) for a whole minute, and then returns to state F7 (ACTIVATED). I have used Asterisk 1.2.0-Bristuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1 with the corresponding florz patch and Asterisk 1.2.1-Bristuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1g with the corresponding florz patch, but they both have the same problem. I use Asterisk 1.0.9-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC8n as a live machine on the same NT1 with no problems at all. The D-channel goes down and up (like all KPN ISDN lines do), but I have ne...

huge problem compiling * on gcc4.x (SUSE 10.0)
Hello to all of you! I'm very new to this list and to asterisk and stuff at all. To build my asterisk server I installed a new machine running the new SUSE Linux 10.0 (retail version on DVD). I need asterisk (tried 1.0.9), bristuff (off junghanns.net, -0.2.0-RC8o) and the florz-patch because I have two HFC-S-ISDN cards in that machine. Now when it comes to compiling I get a huge bunch of warnings and stuff, zaptel 1.0.9.2 fails to compile and asterisk 1.0.9 also fails to compile. SUSE 10.0 uses gcc 4.0.2 and as I asked in some other mailing list and forums, that is the r...

Call terminated after 60 seconds
Hello, I switched from my PSTN provider to a voip provider. (Voicedata in the Netherlands) >From the moment i switched all inbound calls are terminated after aproximatly 1 minute. The provider tells me it's not their issue since I have no other configuration than all their other users. What can I do. I removed all asterisk functionality by forwarding the inboud call directly to a local

IAX & CallerID
Hi All Apologises if this has been disussed and I missed it. My SetUp I have a sip phone registered to an asterisk box (a1) in one location 1. This phone dials an extension which is in another location, so a1 passes the call via IAX to the other asterisk (a2) in location 2 which then dials the local phone. My Problem The caller ID setup in the sip.conf for the phone registered to a1 is not

zaphfc syslog flooding
Hi, my zaphfc is flooding my syslog with two messages (even without asterisk running). Is this "normal"?: -------------------------------------------------- zaphfc: bchan rx fifo not enough bytes to receive! (z1=1360, z2=1353, wanted 8 got 7), probably a buffer overrun. zaphfc: dropped audio (z1=2712, z2=2695, wanted 8 got 17, dropped 9). With Asterisk running (asterisk -vvvvvgc)

Fritz card technology & German *
Hi all, I've been working with * for a long time now, but only with analog FXS/FXO systems. I am venturing towards setting up a box in Germany now and I believe that requires a Fritz card? Do I even have to use the Fritz cards? Why not a Digium card.... We have 2 ISDN lines ( --> 6 handsets) so I'm guessing that will require 2 Fritz PCI cards (they have 1 port only). Then
