I have a 3dfx voodoo3 card, in X4.0.2 using the DRI opengl libs from dri.sourceforge.net my problem is, although 3d acceleration works for me under wine, all opengl games are horribly flickery and some of the surfaces are transparent because of this has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

...I don't know if this is quite the right mailing list for this question... Basically I've got wine + transgaming patch compiled and working, except... When I run "American McGee's Alice in Wonderland", the screen flickers. You can see what's going on, but its just very flickery and "corrupted"... Any ideas? im trying to run worms world party with wine cvs 04/13/01 after manually instaling by installing on a windows machine then copying acorss to my machine (it uses installshield which crashes under wine), the game launches it is really really horribly flickery, and quite slow. its a directdraw game, but as far as i can tell its not making any attempt to change to the resolution it wants. im pretty sure the game is in 8bit colout, btu when i run x in 8bit colour, wine looks really messed up. anyway, i can get to the menu system (ignoreing the epilleps...

Hello list, I'm a former Trustix User (were active in that community since the very first betas), and now that my dear distro is dead, I'm looking to make a switch.. Several people recommended CentOS, so I decided to give it a spin.. ...would be to kind of sneak up on the file, you have to go around it and click on it's icon to select it, this way the tooltip will not appear at all. When using the scrollbar in the insert tab, the elements contained there flicker alot. The text scrolling effect in the about window is slow and flickery.
