Hello Rowland, One of my customer is reporting that sometime intermittently they can't access the share. When the issue appear the "wbinfo ping-dc"? and "net ads info" show the following: # /opt/samba/bin/wbinfo --ping-dc checking the NETLOGON for domain[FLEET] dc connection to "" failed failed to call wbcPingDc: WBC_ERR_DOMAIN_NOT_FOUND # /opt/samba/bin/net

kinda random, but do we have a centralized list of all of the buildbots? I see a lot of different URL's in IRC, but no list so I can check "all of the waterfalls". I'm not talking about the specific bots (e.g. llvm-x86_64-ubuntu) but the "fleets" (e.g.http://lab.llvm.org). Could you maybe add a little bulleted list (or link to a list) to docs/HowToAddABuilder.rst? Thanks. Or maybe I completely misunderstand how it is organized... -- Sean Silva On Thu, Nov 15, 2012 at 1:53 PM, Galina Kistanova <gkistanova at gmail.com> wrote:...

Time is Fleeting: CentOS 4 question
I have recently built a new server using CentOS4. I've found one major oddity: time resolution is completely whacked. I'm not using an external time source nor am I relying on NTP for time resolution. For some reason, time on this server moves forward at a far more rapid rate. Right now, all my other systems show Sunday May 8, 3:19 pm. The CentOS server thinks its Monday May 9, 3:54

Are linux distros redundant?
I just realised that I haven't touched a centos/redhat machine in more than a couple of years. Everything I do now is Kubernetes based or using cloud services (or k8s cloud services). What about it listeroons? Is your fleet of centos boxes ever expanding or are you just taking care of a single java 6 jboss application that takes care of the companies widget stocks? How are your jobs

somewhat OT--windows logon script
Hi Group, We use a simple logon script to map drives for our users. If we put the following line: net use /delete * /yes then no drives are mapped on the workstations. If we rem it out, the script works fine. Full script below: net use /delete * /yes net use e: \\server5\peachtree net use w: \\server5\contract_maintenance net use t: \\server5\fleet net use x: \\server5\allusers net use u:

Instrumentation for metrics
Hi, We serve a fairly substantial number[1] of ssh connections across our fleet.? We have hit MaxStartups limits in the past and bumped it up a few times (currently at 300), but we have no warning before the limit is reached and connections start being dropped.? What I would love is some sort of instrumentation that could let us see the highest number of concurrent pre-auth connections the

Proper check of openssl usage in processes?
Hi All :) I need to check and possibly update openssl on my fleet of servers. I would like to avoid reboot if possible. I think that I can: - update openssl version with yum - check all daemon processes which are constantly running in the os, for example for sshd something like ldd `which sshd` | awk '/\// { print $3 }' | grep crypto | xargs strings | grep -i openssl to verify if the

For example, each row contains oldcar newcar qty and a typical entry could be lexus bmw 1 I put the qty column to allow for fleet purchases, where one purchase may convert multiple cars at once. I'd like to show what's going on. I could do a histogram of newcar to show the frequency each type of car is bought. If there

Azure AD Connect
We joined one MS Windows 2012 R2 server to our Samba DC fleet and pointed the Azure AD sync tool to that new Windows AD server and Azure password sync is working well now. Errors related to Samba in httpd log!
Hello list First and foremost to any developers listening - thank you for Samba - it is just brilliant. Apologies - this is a long post... I am not getting complaints about logon problems from users but I have noticed in /var/log/httpd/error_log, entries like the following for a few users when their logon scripts map drives to shares. Looking back I can see that it has been

question about etcd.conf
Hi, guys: I have installed coreos on three bare metal machines to form a cluster. I added /etc/etcd/etcd.conf to each machine according to the instruction in https://github.com/coreos/etcd/blob/master/Documentation/configuration.md however, when I do sudo systemctl start etcd, it keep start the etcd with "default" as name (although I set the name to be different in etcd.conf), and also

Install Centos 6 x86_64 on Dell PowerEdge 2970 and a SSD (hardware probing issues)
I have a fleet of 2970s and we are upgrading the hardrives on the motherboard SATA ports (A/B not the PERC backplane) when a "detecting hardware" is performed the system crashes, reboots and gives an E1422 error code (useless video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhyMeUHJar4). We narrowed it down to a motherboard BIOS issue, if we remove the SSD or add noprobe to the kernel the
