form with more than 1 file upload field saves 0 byte file for 1 file field
Im using the file_column plugin to upload files from my application. The problem I am encountering is that I have a form with 2 file upload fields and when I submnit that form with files selected, I would get a message from the browser(Firefox) saying that a script on the page is taking a long time to execute and whether I want to cancel it or continue. Whichever option I choose, only 1 file(PDF)

A Short Policy Proposal Regarding Host Compilers
Hi All- As we all know, the C++14 discussion is flaring up again. Chandler brought up that he would like a concrete plan to switch. In my opinion, this is insufficient, as it will result in us simply having this discussion AGAIN next release. Instead, I would prefer us to have a concrete Policy on our host compilers. That way, changes like this are unsurprising to our users, and advance our

Handling DWARF "units"
Currently, LLVM's DWARF parser keeps Compile Units and Type Units on separate lists, basically organizing them by ELF section. This works okay for DWARF v4, because Type Units are in .debug_types (possibly in individual COMDATs) and everything else is in the .debug_info section (without COMDATs). The two lists conveniently can be templated/typed with DWARFTypeUnit and DWARFCompileUnit. In

ole32 and CoGetCurrentLogicalThreadId
Hi, I'm trying to run an internal application from where I work on wine. The application uses a lot of COM components and multiple threads. But when running it, it seems to hang pretty quickly. I added the output from wine below, from what I understand, it's stopping and waiting on a lock, using CoGetCurrentLogicalThreadId that is not implemented. I'm just starting to use wine, so I

A Short Policy Proposal Regarding Host Compilers
I second this proposal, and I make a motion to lengthen 3/1.5 to 6/5. A Short Policy Proposal Regarding Host Compilers
I've heard just about zero opposition to this, so I've put a code review together here: https://reviews.llvm.org/D47073 With the intent of either implementing this policy change, or encouraging further discussion/bikeshed. caveat: I haven't either read actionscript language spec nor really got through swfdec context, frame and such. This is fully based on blocky.swf code inspection. thanks to flare, i can extract the below beautiful code. You don't need to understand the whole thing but there is one thing to notice: border[XY]start are initialized in on(press) and get used in on(release). Currently swfdec

In Search of Search!
I am implementing a search on my site and was wondering which will be the best way to go about it. We want a full text search and an advance search. We will have huge amounts of data that we would want to search. - on multiple tables. I went through the plugins acts_as_ferret and acts_as_solr. but ferret seems to have a locking problem at high load and solr needs a java server. So what do you

A Short Policy Proposal Regarding Host Compilers
Based on my reading of the release pages (https://gcc.gnu.org/releases.html and http://releases.llvm.org/) 6/5 would make GCC 4.7 and Clang 3.1 required, and GCC 4.8 and Clang 3.3 the first to not warn. 6/5 is surprisingly close to making the policy conform to exactly our current time-lag, where we are GCC4.8 (instead of 4.7) and Clang 3.1 (also 3.1). -Erich From: Andrew Kelley

A Short Policy Proposal Regarding Host Compilers
I’d like us to move forward with something along the lines Erich proposed back in May, ideally early enough in the LLVM 8 release process that people testing the release will be able to provide feedback.
