Fedora 4: x86_64 different build options than i386?
After successful testing on our 32-bit machine using the rpm, I'm installing dovecot on our Fedora 64-bit machine using that rpm. In the log file I get: dovecot: Mar 31 15:34:16 Error: auth(default): Unknown database driver 'mysql' I see this: # dovecot --build-options Build options: ioloop=poll dnotify ipv6 openssl Passdb: checkpassword pam passwd passwd-file shadow Userdb:

Quick question. Thunderbird/Outlook = no love.
Are there any how-tos or documentation on getting dovecot to be thunderbird/outlook friendly? Thunderbird can connect about 20% of the time, the other 80% of the time, I Get the error: "You may need to connect via SSL or TLS. Please check the account settings for your mail server." I have my thunderbird setup to do TLS. I've put it on the TLS if available as well, still no love.

Message Filenames
Is there anyway to get a message's filename through the imap server? I've been developing a program for awhile and just switched to dovecot from courier. Courier had a file that for every line was like: <message uid> <message filename> Is there anway to get this information out of dovecot? -Charlie

Simple Question
Brand spanking new to Dovecot. Trying to move over to it, got a few simple questions. 1) Is there any documentation on the .customflags file? Not sure what this is for... 2) I'd like to make a directory for every user NOT be writable. Meaning the email server (Exim) can put the mail down in the directory but a user can no move an email into it through Imap. I couldn't find a search

Dovecot LDA + Fedora destribution = no go?
Anyone know of a way to get the LDA to work on the fedora distribution available on yum? I'm a big fan of the whole yum-auto-updating thing but if this isn't possible, I'll go tarball. -Charlie

Port Change?
Hey all, Got a super simple question that I can't find an answer to on google or on the list. I want dovecot to listen to port 143 and another port as well for imap. Is this possible? The dovecot.conf has a little note that says "If you want to specify ports # for each service, you will need to configure these settings inside the # protocol imap/pop3 { ... } section, so you can specify
