Anonymous access to Samba, or something like it?
...Is
there a way in the smb.conf file to specify total anonymous read access
to a share, or to the server in general? Ideally, no matter what user
IIS claims to be, I want Samba to field the request and return the file
(read-only, of course). Does this make sense?

Switching to another Samba server
...working I still have the
old one running on the other computer. Admittedly, I don't know what
every setting in the conf file does. So is it likely that, for certain
fields, identical settings on both machines would cause some kind of
conflict during a logon?

Logging AD domain name in access.log
Hi to all.
Using Samba 3.0.22 on 2 identical systems (SLES 10).
On the first system, Samba logs correctly AD domain name and user in the form DOMAIN+username in access.log.
On the second one, it logs only the username, stripping away the domain name.
The only difference is that the first system is part of a network with a w2003 server acting as a domain controller, while the second machine talks
