LSI SATA MegaRaid & Centos 7 build 1511
It's fakeRAID but I do not know why there's no LSI cards in lspci output !!
To manage the disks; I have to use the LSI Sata Megaraid fireware; so is there any hope to install Centos 7 on this H/W?
I have three servers from this model and I was planning to use them as test environment for me.
Is there any way to rebuild kernel drivers or by pass boot parameter dmraid=yes while installing Centos 7?

snom 105 Attended Transfer does not work
Hello all,
I am running into some problems with a snom 105 phone trying to do a attended transfer .
Snom phones are connected to Asterisk.
This does not work, it will only do a unattended transfer.
I have downloaded the manual from snom and followed the instructions.
Has anyone experienced the same problem ?
any ideas how to solve the problem.
thanks,
Arne.

Here is a set of drivers/fireware from Intel for those NICs:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/15817/Intel-Network-Adapter-Driver-for-PCI-E-Gigabit-Network-Connections-under-Linux-
I will see if I can get a CentOS-6 build of the latest version of that
from our older SRPM:

centosplus kernel
Just for the record, we are currently working with someone from SGI to
get a much better implementation of XFS working with the centosplus
kernel.
I want to wait to push the centosplus unsupported kernel (2.6.9-22)
until we have this new and much more stable version of XFS code
implemented.

Any IP phones with pro-audio connections?
Does anybody know of any IP phones (ideally SIP based) that have
interfaces to plug into a pro audio system (eg for phone interviews).
Something can probably be hacked up with a headset connector or the 1/8"
jacks on a 7970 but I'm wondering if there's something better out there.
Thanks,
Julien

[panic] ipw and kismet
Hello,
I almost always get a panic when running kismet on my ipw-Interface
under 6.1-PRERELEASE. This has been the case ever since ipw hit the
tree. Sometimes kismet works, sometimes it doesn't. A sure way to
trigger the panic is to switch between bss/ibss/monitor mode prior to
running kismet. Perhaps there is a bug in the re-initialization when
loading a different firmware?
Is this panic
