Thunderbird does not follow url links in Firefox
Since the recent update from firefox2 to firefox3 the links in my mails
do no longer work. No window pops up. After some debug I found the
problem. Let's share it with others that experience the same problem:
I'm using Thunderbird 2.0.0.17 (manually downloaded, that might have
caused the problem, I have not tried with 1.5)

prototype.js and different browsers
Hi
I''m currently learning how AJAX is working and found prototype.js interesting.
But I have some issues that might be because of misusage:
http://brasilia.nersc.no/test/PyTest/AJAX.html
When I use this in Firefox2 it correctly fills the first select, using opera9
it is filled, but it just shows a list of "blank" options (no description),
and in IE6 it doesn''t get filled at all.
I use python in the backend, and feeding it the input it replies correctly in
all browsers:

Has anyone noticed that flash notice dosent appear at all in firefox2
running with ubuntu? Is there a more cleaner and universal solution

...39;air'' to get form fields auto-watched for changes and updating triples on the server, JS DOM creation + bindings (closures and js vars instead of jQuery selectors to avoid the fragility and traversal, if you want). ive tested the base gUI and proven it can at least load and make edits in firefox2/3, opera, ie(s4linux), and webkit(qt/gdk), but not this week.
theres no global lock preventing concurrency, no class vars and only a couple instance vars (could make these go away, but this isnt haskell) . so far the only thing somewhat slow is ruby''s sort_by. taking about 0.1 second for...

Firefox as the standard browser
Hi Folks,
I use WINE 1.1.8 from the actual repository under Ubuntu 8.10, Intrepid Ibex.
Freshly installed, I set up Firefox and got it running. It was asking wether I want it to be the standard browser and I agreed. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to register itself in this way. It is asking again and again when I restart it.
The problem is, that I want to use an application which calls URLs

Firefox 2.0 on CentOS 4.4
I realize that CentOS 4.4 is all about stability but I would still like
to install Firefox 2.0 on it, since I am sharing my Firefox project
across OSs on a multi-boot machine and the other OSs have Firefox 2.0.
Is it possible to get CentOS 4.4 to work properly with Firefox 2.0 and,
if so, does anybody know of a CentOS 4.4 repository which has a Firefox
2.0 RPM available.
