Problem with software installation - Panasonic Camcorder
...my system informs me that the software is read only and from an untrusted source. Attempting to switch the executable bit through the provided GUI toggle has no effect. Help? reposurgon and the conversion
...er find another job. This means the timeframe for a finished repo conversion just got more uncertain, as I may not be able to work steadily on it for a while. -- <a href="http://www.catb.org/~esr/">Eric S. OT: programming language for morons (newbie friendly language in Open Source world)
Hi folks I have more than 12 years experience with UNIX system administration, but I am too stupid for programming. My only programming experience is shell scripting. I tried to learn Java, but don't understand it because it is too complicated for my limited brainpower. What programming language should I learn? A friend said that C-Sharp (Mono) is very simple. Is this true? cheers Sven

Logging of client commands, possible?
Hi folks, sorry if this has been discussed before, I did a quick search on the mailing list but found nothing pertinent. My question: is it possible to log all data that is sent from the ssh client to the sshd server? Rationale: I'd like to log all commands that users execute when being logged in via ssh. And I mean all, as the system in question is a sensitive production server, so
