OpenSSH FIPS 140-2 support using OpenSSL FIPS modules?
Thanks Roumen.
I have few more questions below:
1. What version of OpenSSH can the patch be applied to? What branch should
I check out the patch?
2.

What build process should be changed? What is fipscheck?
3. My understanding any application (such as OpenSSH) which need to use the

OpenSSH FIPS 140-2 support using OpenSSL FIPS modules?
Hi All:
I tried to rebuild openssl with the FIPS modules, and then install the new
openssl libs (lib crypto.so to be specific) on my Ubuntu 12.04 box.
After that I noticed it seemed to break OpenSSH: I couldn't login to the
box using ssh, and couldn't run the client command like ssh-keygen either.
My questions are:
1. Does OpenSSH support FIPS mode?
2. Or does OpenSSH support with

NSS vs OpenSSL
Since Fedora is pushing NSS SSL instead of OpenSSL, has someone tested
tinc-vpn against NSS? As i recall, a single machine can not have
OpenSSL and mod_nss installed at the same time anymore. So if you
have apache running, you _may_ have problems running tinc? The nss
api is supposed to mostly similar to openssl api, but there are some
things openssl supports and somethings nss supports.

Re: Can't create any KVM template due to the error with libguestfs
Hi,
Two doubts.
1. What I've to replace in "NEEDED"? or I need to just run the whole
command you given
2. You mean this one,
rpm -qa | grep libguestfs*

[PATCH] libvirt: disallow non-local connections (RHBZ#1347830)
If the connection is not local, paths of disks will refer to the remote
host, which were mistakenly handled as local paths (in the best case
failing to open a non-existing disk, and in the worst case opening a
different disk!).
In case the disks are remote resources like ssh or ceph, nothing
guarantees that the hostname can be reached from the local machine, or
even that it is actually the same on
