libogg 1.3.0 ?
...r. Is that on purpose? Is there some other channel I could subscribe to in order to learn about updates? Freecode.com doesn't have up-to-date info either (though I just submitted a 1.3.0 update; last they list for libogg is 1.1.3). My motivation is that I package libogg for Fink <http://www.finkproject.org/> and as such would like to know when a new version of libogg (and libvorbis, libao etc.) is released, in order to update my packages. Cheers, Max

OSX El Capitan - Fink - NUT
...dcasts and the Mac shuts down. Or it did. I have just upgraded to OSX 10.11 El Capitan. I have successfully upgraded Fink to 0.39.1. I now wish to update the NUT package, so that I can continue using upsmon etc. However, although NUT is apparently stable for Fink under 10.11 (here <http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/nut>), an install fails, with the error "Can't resolve dependency "system-openssl-dev" for package "nut-2.7.3-1" (no matching packages/versions found) Exiting with failure.? It appears (here <http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/system-...

discount submitted to Fink
hello folks! i've packaged discount-1.3.2 so that it builds under Fink (http://www.finkproject.org ) and submitted my package for validation (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=414256&aid=2654852&group_id=17203 ). this may be a good solution for someone who wants to use discount but doesn't want to fool around with compiling the source without assistance...

tinc on macosx
Hi, So I bought a new macbook 2 days ago. I already feel like I'm going to break it somehow. I am kind of surprised that there is no kind of package management system like dpkg being used. Anyway.. Looking at the macosx tinc wiki page on tinc-vpn.org, and it seems to be somewhat incomplete. I have a few questions. I installed the tuntaposx driver and set up the machine to connect to the

Newbie - SNMP-UPS Driver Issue
...omebrew-core/blob/master/Formula/nut.rb#L52> I don't use Brew, so I am not sure if it is easier to adapt their configuration to compile against SNMP libraries, or if you can get Brew to coexist with Fink. The SNMP drivers for NUT are in the "nut-snmp" splitoff in Fink: http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/nut-snmp <http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/nut-snmp> I maintain the Fink package of NUT, so let me know if you have any questions. installing nut for Mac OS X
...n Mac OS X as simple as "make install" and no dependencies? if not is there a summary of what i'd need to do? regarding nut on Fink: based on a note in this list's archive i found that nut 2.0.4-1, plus nut-usb and nut-cgi, should be in Fink's stable branch: <http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/nut> however, with a fully up-to-date Fink install, neither the command line: fink list nut nor the equivalent in Fink Commander shows any listing for nut; switching to the unstable branch yields the same null result a workaround that get me nut via Fink would probably...

Newbie - SNMP-UPS Driver Issue
Hello all, I have exhausted my research and need a little help with some basic concepts. First time configuration working with NUT and putting into a OS X environment. Was able to install the package using Brew. Have read the documentation and have been able to get the server running and agent running using MACOSX-UPS driver and connect to UPS via USB. I would however like to integrate a TrippLite

Why not make money and sell Network UPS Tools App on the Mac and iOS App Stores?
Hello Devs of NetworkUPS Tool.Org, Like many people I have a UPS (CypberPower BR850ELCD) connected via USB to my Synology NAS but I would like my LAN clients (Apple Mac) to be able to get information about the status of the UPS, the UPS battery etc. Unfortunately, there isn’t a Network UPS Tools App on either the iOS or Mac App stores. Surely this would be a golden opportunity for

Again: Next libvorbis release?
Hi there, I maintain the libvorbis, libogg and vorbis-tool package for Fink <http://finkproject.org/ >. Recently I had time to wonder about those again. In particular, since I was informed libsndfile self-tests fails with 1.2.0, but not with a version dubbed 1.2.1rc1 somebody sent me. Also trunk seems to contain security fixes.
