...ged to get wow working with catalyst 8.5. It works quite good except the white minimap when inddor. But when I die all graphics become corrupted and I can't use the game anymore. Strangely to bring my character to life I can launch the game in d3d mode to, slowly, head towards my body. I have ffxdeath 0 and ffxglow 0 in my Config.wtf. Any idea ? Thanks

Hi, some time ago i've installed WoW in Ubuntu 9.10 using wine 1.1.42 (wine1.2 ubuntu package). Everything fine, had a few fps problems but with some tips found in wowwiki i've manage to increase fps to about 20. Some users would say it's still low, but i was happy with it. Well, some weeks ago i've updated to Ubuntu lucid (10.04). It's great, but my WoW fps drop down to about

My problem: After some time playing WoW (about 1-2 minutes) the whole screen turns white. Everything else seems to work perfectly, I still have sound and I still can interact with my character. I can even open a terminal (blindfolded) and type 'killall WoW.exe' to quit WoW and make the white screen go away. wine --version outputs 'wine-1.1.37' I use the propiertary nVidia drivers
