Re: Assigning IPv6 address to guest
...es this command output look like ?
> ip -6 nei
I am using two different IPv6 addresses for the two different machines.
I am unable to ping outside from the VM or connect otherwise via IPv6
from the VM. I am also unable to ping the link-local addresses of the
eth1 interface on the VM (via `ping6 fe80::5054:aaff:fe00:f057/64`).
ip -6 nei on the VM gives me:
`fe80::5054:ff:fe1d:a4bb dev eth1 lladdr 52:54:00:1d:a4:bb router STALE`

[Bug 742] New: ip6tables "-m iprange" ipv6 range detection

Component: ip6_tables (kernel)
AssignedTo: netfilter-buglog at lists.netfilter.org
ReportedBy: mailxiening at gmail.com

I am using ip6tables to allow/disallow connection from clients with specific IP
address.
My client's IPv6 address is "fe80::e91b:befe:97dc:9df5".
The "-m iprange --src-range" detects the client is in or out of the specified
range as follows.
I create the rules and set log prefix.
ip6tables -I INPUT -m iprange --src-range 1000::0-ffff::0 -j LOG --log-level 7

IPv6 two or more providers, duplicating routing table does not work
Hello,
shorewall6 seem to have problems duplicating the main routing table. shorewall6 tries to add the fe80::/64 route of every ipv6 configured interface to routing table 1.
The first route applies but the other ones not.
If i try to add the routes manually to routing table 1 i have to add the first fe80::/64 route and append not add the other ones.
does not work:
ip -6 route add table 1 fe80::/64 dev...

Hi,
Your setup shows
virbr2 and br0 both on the same network 2607:5300:60:1156::2/64 which
will cause issues with routing. This however must not...
