I am running a REHL 4.3 server with samba RPMs: 3.0.10-1.4e.9 When an os X client connects to our samba server it can copy files from the server an overwrite other files that already exist. When I do smbclient -L -N prodwww or smbclient -L -N \\prodwww or even smbclient -L -N //prodwww I get an error message Not enough '\' characters in service I have tried to find this error message on the samba web site but I have not been successful in finding an exact match.
