I have tried just about everything to fix this problem

Receiving faxes and storing then in a database?
I wasn''t sure if anyone here knew how to interact with a fax service
via rails, but if you have any insight on this I would greatly
appreciate it.
Basically what I''m looking to do is....when a fax is sent to a faw
number, take that fax and save it as 2045467788.pdf or any file type.
The file type is irrelevant, but as long as the fax is stored as the
phone number it was sent from I can do things with it. I can
associate that phone number with an account in the database and then
link it to that acco...

basic information defining functions
Hi all,
i am looking from some insights to define own R functions. so far i
found most basics in documentations that are around on the web. except
for one thing:
I?d like to define some function, say:
#assume my data matrix contains vectors like data$myColumn1,data
$myColumn2 etc.
getMyColumn <- function (columnid){
x<-data$MyColumn?columnid?[data$indexone=1 & data$index2=5]

library error on start up, error on update packages
Hello,
I am unable to update packages. I am running R version 2.8.1 (2008-12-22)
under VISTA. When I start R I get the following error:
Type 'demo()' for some demos, 'help()' for on-line help, or
'help.start()' for an HTML browser interface to help.
Type 'q()' to quit R.

USRMGR.EXE doesn't work anymore.
I've upgraded my system at Samba 3.0.20 (SLES 8) bacause of some errors
on winbind and Windows 2003.
Now, usrmgr.exe doesn't work anymore.
It reports: ?procedure number is out of range - Do you want to
administrate another domain??
USRMGR has been working for 3 years; I've made all upgrades on Windows
2000, but the results it's the same.
Any Idea?

Windows R 1.8.0 hangs when Mem Usage >1.8GB
I have a loop that increases the size of an object after each iteration. When the Windows Task Manager shows "Mem Usage" about 1.8GB, the Rgui.exe process no longer responds.
I use:
"C:\Program Files\R\rw1080\bin\Rgui.exe" --max-mem-size=4000M --min-vsize=10M --max-vsize=3000M --min-nsize=500k --max-nsize=1000M
I have a dual Xeon 2.8GHz processor box with 4GB of memory and

RESEND Preparations for Fermi DRAM clock changes
Two patches went missing as a result of PEBCAK. No v2 marks as nothing
changed really. Just resending for easier enforcement of patch order
in other people's trees. Sorry for the noise.
Original message:
No, no, these will not implement Fermi reclocking. This set of patches
contains some of the preparatory work that I deem stable enough to
move upstream. Notable changes

Preparations for Fermi DRAM clock changes
No, no, these will not implement Fermi reclocking. This set of patches
contains some of the preparatory work that I deem stable enough to
move upstream. Notable changes
- Training pattern upload routines from GK104+ now shared with GT215+
- Timing calculation for Fermi
- GDDR5 MR calculation from VBIOS timing table v1.0. Also useful for that
pesky GT 240.
- A routine to translate a VBIOS init

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
