5v capable motherboards
Anyone have a suggestion on where I can get a decent new MB with 5v
capable PCI slots. It seems like every decent server MB on the market
has 3.3V slots only.
Is diving into the junkbin my only choice if I can't afford to replace
the 5v quad-T1 wildcard?
Thanks

Inter-digit minimum

Is there any way to control the minimum?
We are having problems with incoming calls on our X100P where callers
try to dial 10, but the 1 gets detected twice and they end up on
extension 11.

X100P Ringing/Answering
It appears that my X100P card is only answering after two rings. Ideally,
I'd like it to answer on the first ring. Here is the incoming section of my

Wildcard remote looping

minutes for 15 intervals.
The phone company says the line is good to the smartjacks but says they
were unable to loop up the asterisk boxes at either end. (And there is
a fairly long and untrustworthy cat 5 extension from the smart jacks to
the asterisk boxes.)

PRI to PRI not passing callerid
I must be doing something stupid, but I can't figure it out.
I have three PRI lines connected to Asterisk, one from the phone
company, and two more connected to PBXs. Asterisk uses the incoming DID
information to decide which PBX to route the call to. Should be simple.
Asterisk is clearly getting the caller id info from the phone company:

Application.rb params
I need to check if a parameter is set so that I can build some information
for my application, but No matter how I format my if statement in the file "
Application.rb" it return the following error.
You have a nil object when you didn''t expect it!
You might have expected an instance of Array.
The error occurred while evaluating nil.[]
Here is the line

modem passthru
Our setup is:
9.6k Modem <-analog-> Mitel SX-200 <-(pri)-> Asterisk <-(pri) -> Telco
The modem works fine with the Mitel directly connected to the Telco, but
once we add Asterisk in between connections start failing.
I suspect the issue is caused by the echo canceller, since I believe the
issue appear about the time we turned echo cancellation on (for the IAX
users). We

OT: "Integrated Access T1" voice problems - is this possible?
Hello,
I am currently pricing out various T1 and PRI options for a client of
mine. We need voice and data - we want T's. Whether it be two seperate
T's, two superate fractional T's, or one combined fractional T, we need
it done.
We are getting pricing and one provider is telling us that they have
quality issues with the "Integrated Access" product. From what they

Asterisk + SIP + NAT - seriously, what's the secret?
I'm at my wit's end!
I've spent 2 days now trying to get what I thought was a very simply SIP
+ NAT arrangement working. I've trawled the web and picked brains, but
nothing anyone suggests work.
My setup is very simple. I have a * server in a datacentre, with a
public IP address. There is no firewall in place, it's completely open
(at least, as far as I'm concerned). I

So I reached the point where my PRI is accepting incoming calls, but I

Bad DTMF detection
We're still having problems with DTMF detection on our X100P cards.
Incoming callers that hold down the "1" button for too long are being
connected to extension 11. One would think fat fingers were uncommon,
but it happens to alot of people.
I suspected this was related to our having to increase the txgain, but I
tried turning it down with no effect. I also tried disabling the

Dial D option not working?
For some reason I cannot get the 'D' option to send dtmf after connect.
This doesn't work
exten => _XXX, 1, Dial(Zap/r3,10,d(300) )
This does:
exten => 300, 1, Dial(Zap/r3,10,M(to-300) )
[macro-to-300]
exten => s,1,SendDTMF(300)
Of course, what I really need to send is not 300, but $EXTEN
but since I am running 1.0 and do not have the patch that allows macro
arguments I
