OT :JavascriptSortableTables
I found this on the rails wiki
http://www.kryogenix.org/code/browser/sorttable/
Looked farily easy, class and id for the table. Dropped the JS in to
application.js.
Problem is it''s putting the sort link on the first row of data and not on
<thead>
Anyone know how to fix it ?
Here''s a bit of my table:

Is there anything I'm missing?

Strane remount behaviour with ext3-2.4-0.9.4
Following the announcement on lkml, I have started using ext3 on one of my
servers. Since the server in question is a farily security-sensitive box, my
/usr partition is mounted read only except when I remount rw to install
packages.
I converted this partition to run ext3 with the mount options
"nodev,ro,data=writeback, defaults" figuring that when I need to install new
packages etc, that I could just mount rw...

Metadata, file signatures, and extentions

I've looking at the sample vorbis encoder and a file I made from it I
noted that you have some a comment field, and I was wondering if you had
any plans to support more metadata, and if you would consider adding
id3v2 as your metadata format. The id3v2 is a farily elaborate
specicification, it wouldn't be a good thing for theis "wheel" to have
to be reinvented for vorbis. It also would be nice to see this written
in the actually vorbis spec, rather than bolted on later.
The one downside I've seen in using id3v2 tags is that they us...

Jenkins Plugins & puppet
...y using the internal jenkins call to do the install, it will handle the dependency issues.
If there''s a good way to get variables to the provider plugin / or a templated script from the catalog then I can update to a provider.
I intended to use the gem.rb as a base, since it''s farily similar in concept and design.
Thoughts?

Interrupts (was Re: X11 protocol errors ...) (PR#1068)
...f controlling interrupt
behaviour from R, such as having some sort of without.interrupts and
with.interrupts functions to be able to program reliable interaction

consider is suspending interrupts during on.exit processing.)
It's a farily big can of worms, and probably not urgent for now, but
we will need to look at it eventually.

...e completion event from libvirtd, which is fired only

This code has a lot of fallback options in case when libvirtd is old or
so.
At any rate, manual pivoting later should help. Also probably updating
to a more recent version.
In case you are using a farily recent version, it's possible that there
are still bugs though.

Speex problem installing on CentOS 5.3
Hello, all. I am delightfully slogging my way through installing and
configuring Asterisk 1.6.1.1 on CentOS 5.3. I'm learning lots and
admiring the product but I'm having a problem getting speex to install
and I would very much like to use it. It is not available in menuselect
and the problem appears to be with speex_preprocess_ctl:

Because I live in the country, the phone numbers are listed in the wrong

As far as areas go, I am a in farily backwater, remote location. I'd

virsh blockcommit fails regularily (was: virtual drive performance)
Hi,
a small update on this. We have migrated the virtualized host to use the
virtio drivers and now the drive performance is improved so that we can see
a constant transfer rate. Before it used to be the same rate but regularly
dropped to a few bytes/sec for a few seconds and then was fast again.
However we still observe that the following fails regularily:
$ virsh snapshot-create-as --domain

Any way to pass state to a component?
I am trying set up a rails app that utilizes components. I need to be
able to pass some state (a bunch of name value pairs) from the Main

Is there any way to pass this state info using render_component?

VQ codebook sanity check (please help)
Hello folks,
The codebook infrastructure for Vorbis is now well underway. This is it! The
last piece needed for *real* bitstreams.
To that end, I have a decent VQ codebook generator running. I was originally
using some farily typical merge/split algorithms and then decided that the
right way to do this was to model a VQ codebook as an m-dimensional set of
bubbles (like a foam).
I know there are folks reading the list that understand the details of vector
quantization, so I thought I'd sanity check my assumptions an...

Making LLD PDB generation faster

https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/blob/master/llvm/include/llvm/ADT/DenseMap.h#L627
Finding the 32-bit index in the hashtable doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right one.
The following table shows the collision distribution when inserting (type) ghashes into the DenseMap. This is for a farily large EXE, comparable to yours I suppose.
This shows that 65% of buckets are hit (inserted or found) on the first bucket accessed. But there’s still 35% which requires querying more buckets in the hashtable, up to 54 buckets.

Pulse audo in 1.3.25+
So I used to use the winepulse patch for wine. (Yes I like pulse). But
since 1.3.25+ uses mmdevapi for audio, that patch no longer works. That
author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I
have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says
audio failed. How do I get this new sound server working in wine?
