[LLVMdev] llvm projects for famous benchmark suits
Hi,
Except for the guide in http://llvm.org/docs/Projects.html#help, is there
any easier way to get the llvm projects for famous benchmark suits, such as
MiBench, SPEC2000, .etc?
In other words, is there preconfigured and downloadable llvm projects for
famous benchmark suits?

From FAQ 7.21 to a command like apply(sapply(list(f1,f2,f3),is.na),2,sum)
Dear all,
Last December there was a thread regarding the famous FAQ 7.21 "How can I
turn a string into a variable?" and asking what people want to do with
these strings.
My, certainly trivial application would be as follows:
Assume I have a data.frame containing besides others also the columns f1,
f2, ..., fn and I want to create a command like:
apply(sapply(list(f1,f2,f3),is.na),2,sum)

Help creating the IBM Randu function
Dear all,
I am trying to learn functions in R and 3D plotting so I decided to try
to plot
the famous bad PRNG Randu from IBM(1).
However something is not correct in the function I have created.
First I define the function RANDU like this:
> RANDU <- function(num) { return (65539*num)%%(2^31) }
and test that it works for a seed of 1:
> RANDU(1)
[1] 65539

x11() hangs in R 3.2.1
I'm on RHEL 6.6, R version 3.2.1 Patched (2015-07-30 r68761) --
"World-Famous Astronaut". Issuing the x11() command hangs R and
does not complete. A window is partially drawn then freezes.
Does anyone know of a solution?
Thanks,

%user hack still available ?
hi,
does anybody know, if the famous "//server/share%user - hack" is still
included in the latest sources? Does it lie dormant somewhere there
and can be included by some "#def" ?
Or does anybody know of a windows 95/98 gui/commandline-tool, where
you can enter the password AND username to connect to a share ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

A book we may wish to buy
Hi:
Some French fellow posted a notice yesterday about a book that had
come out. It''s called "Ruby on Rails" and is apparently by DHH &
David Thomas. Is this a scam? If not, does anyone know where I can
buy this book in English? I''ve searched the usual places but can''t
turn anything up.

/lib/firmware/microcode.dat update on CentOS 6
Dear All,
An update just brought on my CenOS 6 boxes updated microcode.dat files:
/lib/firmware/microcode.dat
Does anybody know off hand what (how critical) is that, as, if it is
related to most famous these days trouble with CPU hardware, I will need
to reboot relevant boxes to have new microcode loaded. But if it is not
that critical, it can wait till next reboot.
Thanks a lot and

I am trying to set up a samba fileserver in SuSe 42.3 as domain member

I can also list all browsable shares with /smbclient -L \\SambaFS
-Uusername/, but when i add -k, I get following errors :

I am playing with the famous iris dataset (checking out example dataset in R
