Wine based "Windows desktop"
...a wine based "Windows desktop".
Ideally the "Windows desktop" should look excactlly like a *default*
windows 2K/XP desktop.
Is this possible ?
Has anybody already done so ?
Is that already docemented somewhere ?
I think this would allow more users to try out wine using the familar
windows gui interface.
Next step would be to install simple windows applications all within the
familar windows environmet.

final patch (though I think that is also available in GUI).
And what I heard in this threads that almost all using only command line for working with git. That

I guess people here can be divided on those who using/used both svn and git and
familar with both. Or a minor part, but still some group that are familar with svn only.
I think latter group just reads this thread and do not leave comments, just because unfamilar with git
enough to do that.

how to plot this?
...of data.frames and each one has five columns
(one for x-axis, two for y-axis and two for std of y's.) There is
another dimensions (besides x and y) which is continuous. My question
is, how to plot such series of data frames in one plot (thus,
3-dimensional plot) AND multiple 2-D plots. I am not familar with R's
plotting utilities.
Thanks.

[LLVMdev] Possible Typo in SelectionDAGLowering::visitShuffleVector
Hello
While building LLVM, the compiler (static analysis) is giving me a warning
about "if (RangeUse[0] == 0 && RangeUse[0] == 0) {".
Can somebody familar with the codebase look over it, maybe this should be
"if (RangeUse[0] == 0 && RangeUse[1] == 0) {", otherwise sorry for the
noise.

[OT] CamCommerce
...ith his existing POS database...a product called
CamCommerce.
A bit of research on this software (I''d not heard of it) suggests that
the database backend that CamCommerce uses is some sort of proprietary
system that is particularly fragile, and might be best avoided.
Does anyone have any familarity with migrating data from this system to
MySql? Considering this customer is already heavily invested in his POS
software, and not likely to want to change to something better, is this
worthwhile to take on as a 1st project, or should I perhaps pass on this
and wait for another opportunity?

Domain Users and smbldap-useradd
I noticed that when I create users with smbldap-useradd, the default
group is "Domain Users".
Is this the best user/group default setup for Samba/LDAP?
I'm more familar with the unix user/group setup like max/students or
max/faculty.
Does the user group have to be "Domain Users" when using Samba?
Thanks,

Now I am stuck with a dll containing C++ code.

FE driver and log dirty
Here''s a question about FE driver and log dirty, when live migration
is concerned. Log dirty mode is used in live migration, which works
for those polluted pages from CPU issued accesses, but not for
DMA path (as BE driver talked here which access from another
domain like dom0). Most frontend drivers don''t implement their
own suspend interface (netfront implements when

About the return value of value_value
...documented as: "return data length, data type and data of a value".
For Perl, Python and OCaml, this is not true. A tuple is returned for both
without the length (as this can be calculated from the data value). Ruby is
the outlier here that uses a dictionary with three keys. I am not familar with
Ruby and neither do I know Ruby users of hivex.
The documentation should likely be fixed to exclude the length, but what about
the Ruby API? Is it correct or should a documentation note be added that Ruby
differs
Kind regards,

Connecting MQ from Rails ??
Hi all,
I want to Connect to IBM MQ from Rails/Ruby, can it be done? and get the

Is there a direct way of doing the above job?? If so any packages are
available?
If there is not a way currently, and any thoughts of how we can do the
above job indirectly through some other means or round about ways or
workarounds can be

learning the R language (for those strong in Ruby)
I feel like I'm not firing at all cylinders with the R language,
despite reading over the R Language Definition.
Has anyone seen something like an "R for Rubyists" guide (i.e.
teaching the R language for those who are more familar with Ruby)?
Alternately, a book with lots of examples about how the R language
itself works would be fantastic.

checking a component of the output ? I'm
