R and F9
Hi all,
Being the glutton for self-inflicted punishment that I am, I did a clean
install of F9 yesterday. :-)
As it relates to R:
1. Building R from SVN:
R version 2.7.0 Patched (2008-05-12 r45683)
It builds and passes make check all without issue. F9 is using:
gcc (GCC) 4.3.0 20080428 (Red Hat 4.3.0-8)
2. As was noted with F8, the lack of the Java-JavaScript bridge in the

If I ping this from "loc", tcpdump on the firewall gives response like this:

I would like to add a virtual interface to one of my LAN interfaces.
My LAN interface (/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth2) looks like:

eliminate a partial argument match warning in R CMD check
...ning in dir("src", patt = "[.](cc|cpp)$") :
partial argument match of 'patt' to 'pattern'
Warning in dir("src", patt = "[.]f$") :
partial argument match of 'patt' to 'pattern'
Warning in dir("src", patt = "[.]f9[05]$") :
partial argument match of 'patt' to 'pattern'
It's not a big deal but it would be nice to silence it. Patch below.
Thanks,
Jenny

My experience using -DLLVM_BUILD_INSTRUMENTED_COVERAGE to generate coverage
I had an old build of llc with FE instrumentation, the name section size is
about 5MB. Using coverage is likely to cause the name section to be larger
as there are more references to dead/unused function names.
What do you see when
readelf --string-dump=__llvm_prf_names llc
